I was waiting for the bus while I met him
5、. 2. While he was doing his homework, I listened to the radio. 3. Ill tell you as soon as Ill know.4. We often finish our homework after we go to bed.5. We have been friends after we met at school.6. Jim didnt go to bed since his mother came back.,改错：,when,was listening,/,before,since,until, 二者均可表示“
6、当的时候”，如果主句表示 的是短暂的动作， 而从句表示的是一段时间，二者可通用。I met Jim whenwhile I was walking along the street,when，while的区别：, when可与终止性动词连用， while只能 与延续性动词连用。 It was snowing when we got to the airport （不能用 while）, while强调主句表示的动作持续于while所 指的整个时间内； when可指主、从句所述动作同时或先后 发生。 Please write while I am reading My mother was co

12、理由。,例如: a) Since you are ill, youd better stay at home.b) As the problem is very important, well talk about it again.,四、比较状语从句,thanasasnot as(so)asthe the,引导比较状语从句的连词：,1）甲与乙某一方面相同， “as形容词/副词的原级as” 甲在某一方面不如乙时， “not as so 形容词/副词的原级 as” Dalian is as beautiful as Shenzhen I dont run asso fast as Kang Li
13、,2）表示甲超过或不及乙时，用比较级He runs faster than you Basketball is more popular than football in our class.Football is less popular than basketball in our class.,3）the +比较级 the +比较级“越.越.” The more trees, the better. The more you worry, the less youll succeed.,连词：sothat（如此以致于） suchthat（如此以致于）。常用句型： so形容词副词that从

16、e have to stay at home.,六、让步状语从句,thoughalthough（虽然）even though（尽管）no matter who（无论谁）no matter how（无论怎样）no matter what（无论什么）,引导让步状语从句的连词：,虽然他年纪大了，他工作还是非常努力。Although(Though) he is old, he works hard.即使你这样说，我还是不相信。 Even though (even if) you say so, I dont believe it. 虽然工作很困难，我们还是要按时完成。Though the work i
