1、Object Clause,宾语从句,General Review,不同引导词引导的宾语从句,由从属连词that引导的宾语从句,由连接代词 Who,whom,whose,which， what 和连接副词 where,how,why,when引导的宾语从句,由从属连词 whether, if 引导的宾语从句,1连词that：只起连接作用，在从句中不作句子成分，也无词汇意义，在口语中或非正式文体中常被省略。例如：,由从属连词that引导的宾语从句,注：that 在句中无词汇意义，在从句中不能充当成分，在口语当中往往省略,e.g. I hear (that) _. （一小时后他会回来）He sai
2、d (that) _. （他非常想念我们）The teacher told us (that) _（地球围着太阳转）,he will be back in an hour,he missed us very much,the earth moves around the sun,3连接代词 who, whom, whose,what, which:它们起连接作用，作句子成分，各有其自己的意义。例如：,The teacher asked the new student which class he was in？,which引导宾语从句，在从句中作定语，修饰class，意为“哪个”。,Can y
3、ou tell me whom he is waiting for？,Could you show me which room I should live in?,I wonder where he got so much money,对他从哪里弄到那么多钱我感到疑惑。,where在从句中作地点状语,修饰got，意为“哪里”； “什么地方”。,He didnt tell me how old his friend was,how引导宾语从句，作程度状语，修饰old，意为“怎样”；“如何”等意。,2.如果宾语从句为一般疑问句，用连词if或Whether。1)I wonder if (whethe
4、r) he will help me .注意在下列情况下一般用whether,而不用if . .,I am interested in whether hell go to have a picnic,作介词的宾语时，用whether，而不用if.,Whether this is true or not , I am not sure .,whether 引导的从句可移到主句之前而if不能。,后面紧接or not时，只用whether.,.,Please let me know if you like it . He asked, “Where do you live?”2. “How can we
10、get to the post-office?” he asked.,He asked where I lived.,He asked how they could get to the post-office.,直接引语变间接引语与宾语从句的关系,1、当主句的谓语动词是一般现在时或一般将来时，宾语 从句的谓语动词可以用所需要的任何一种时态。 2、当主句的谓语动词是一般过去时，宾语从句的谓语 动词要用相应的过去时态，但当宾语从句叙述的内容 为客观真理时，仍然用一般现在时。e.g. The teacher said that the moon moves around the sun.,注 意：
