2、ect aims to bring understanding, interpretation, and scholarship to popular American culture. It is located on the campus of Seattle Centerthe Seattle Center Monorail (单轨电车) runs through the building and intends to appeal to multigenerational audiences through its collections, exhibitions, and educa

3、tional programs. The outside of the Experience Music Project building was designed by Frank Gehry, a famous Canadian-American architect. Twenty-one thousand pieces of shaped metal cover the outside of the building in a mixture of textures and colors that seem to change in response to different light

16、ee. Those sculptures can add art to our daily lives when we pass by and appreciate them. Today were changing topics. I want to talk about art that you wont find in a museum. Thats because its temporary art

38、temporary because its not supposed to last forever, only for a short time. Lets look at my first slide. Can everyone see it? What kind of animal is this? 42、rking with paint; hes working with chalk. Hes working outdoors in a public place, and people are coming to watch him work. 44、 people. Lets look at my third slide. Here, you see a huge piece of sand art in California in the United States. 45、and it usually takes him about seven hours to finish a piece. While he is working, he is constantly moving and making marks in the sand. Andwhen he is finished, well . the ocean tides soon erase Denevans work. He is conscious of this, of course, but it doesnt seem to bother him. Like any temporary a
