1、英语名词单复数变化规则,Whats this ?,Its an apple.,What are these?,They are two apples.,-What are these?,-Whats this?,-Its a pen.,-They are pens.,名词,一名词分可数名词和不可数名词 1. 可数名词个体名词都是可数名词。每个可数名词都有其单数和复数形式。 A. 单数：表示“一个”的概念。用名词的单数时，名词前需加 a 或 an。如：a book（一本书）， an apple（一个苹果）， an orange（一个橘子）B. 复数：表示两个或两个以上的物体。 如：two pen
2、cils（两枝铅笔）， three weeks（三周）等。,1.一般情况下，直接在词尾加-s构成复数形式。,如：book-books,bag-bags, cat-cats, bed-beds,watch,es,box,es,bus,es,brush,es,box,2. 以s, x, ch, sh等结尾的名词， 在词尾加-es构成复数形式。,boxes,class,classes,watch,watches,brush,brushes,2.,bus,buses,foxes,dishes,peach,peaches,sandwich,sandwiches,3. 以“辅音字母+y”结尾的名词，应改y
3、为i，再加-es。,family,families,babies,baby,4. 以“元音字母+y”结尾的名词，直接在词尾加-s构成复数形式 。,boy,boys,day,days,4.,key,cities,strawberries,keys,parties,5. 以f或fe结尾的名词，先将f或fe变成v，再加-es构成复数形式。,knife,knives,leaves,找规律,tomatoes,potatoes,heroes,negroes,以o结尾的名词,表示无生命事物的名词，词尾加-s,表示有生命事物的名词，词尾加-es。,加-es的名词有: potato, tomato,Sum up
4、:,1.一般情况下,直接在名词词尾加-s.,2.以s,x,sh,ch结尾的名词,在词尾加-es.,3.以辅音字母加y结尾的名词，要变y为i再加-es.,5.以f 或 fe结尾的名词，先将f或 fe变为v,再加-es.,6.以o结尾的名词,表示无生命事物的名词加-s, 表示有生命事物的名词加-es。,4.以“元音字母+y”结尾的名词，直接在词尾加-s .,不可数名词： 有些词在汉语中可数,在英语中却不可数。如：bread（面包）等。 此类不可数名词要表示“一”这个概念时,需用其它方式表达,数词+量词+OF+名词。如: a piece of bread 等。注意事项： 不可数名词总是用单数的形式。
