2、oject.After you open a new translation kit,it will generate the following files:1)A project file(.wsprj file):The primary file you work in when translating.You translation will be saved in this file.So please handback this file to PM if it has been edited by you.2)A translation memory database(.wstm
3、 file):this file contains any existing translation memory matches from WorldServer.You can also input your translations in the TM.Just like Trados TM.3)A terminology database(.wstd file):this file contains any existing terminology database matches from WorldServer.Note:.XLZ file is a translation kit
4、,only include the same original files as handoff,with none of your work saved.All your work will be saved in wsprj file.,Introduction of Menus,File Menu All the commands in the File Menu are the standard Windows option,using to create,open and close the file.Edit Menu Includes Copy,Cut,Paste,search&
5、Replace and split segment options.View-Control the display of Tags,Auto search,and invibisible characters.Insert Menu-Includes all kinds of command to insert source or other database text.Asset-Include Copy Asset Name,See in Context and Offline Preview options.Click Copy Asset Name will copy the fil
6、e name,which is useful when we raise queries.See in Context can be used to see more context information for the string you selected.Offline Preview can be used to generate the reference file,but it is only applicable when the file is html file.Translation Menu-includes many commands used during tran
7、slation,such as the commands to search the TM,TD,Check consistency and so on.Project Menu-Including the comands for project configuration,uploading and find Repeated segments.Tools Menu-Including the commands for Spell checking,wordcount information,and character map.you can also find the Option com
8、mand here.if you want to modify something in a software,it is useful to go to Tools Options to find some information.Window Menu-you can use this menu to reset all the windorws arranges.Help Menu-You can use this Menu to access the online Help system,you can see more information about Passolo here.,
