That means he or she has a very good parents. They have a good understanding between them. They have a lot of time t

3、o accompany the child. That means the parents can have time to get together with the child to play, to learn and to talk. On the other hand, a good surrounding is very helpful when a child is growing up. That means he or she lives in a good and peaceful neighborhood. He or she has several good teach

4、ers in the kindergarten and in the primary school. And most importantly, he or she has a lot of good friends who can make the whole childhood meaningful and unforgettable.2. What was your earliest memory?I remember an accident very clearly when I was 3 years old. One afternoon, my friend Steven and

5、I were playing on the playground of BFSU (that is, Beijing Foreign Language University. I was born there.) We climbed on a tree, about 3 meters high. I was very exciting when I was on the top of the tree. We laughed and shouted on the tree. Suddenly, I fell down on the ground from the tree. It reall

6、y hurt me. But I didnt cry at that time. My Mum came to me and asked: “ARE you Ok?” and I answered, “Im OK. It doesnt matter.” I ran quickly to the corner of the playground where nobody was in front of me. I could not bear any longer, so I burst into tears there.3. What was your childhood like?I thi

My primary school is called Haidian Foreign Language Experimental School. When I first came to the school, I was ve

10、ry happy because of the large and beautiful campus. My Chinese teacher, Miss Wang showed us around the whole school. There were a large garden in the school, full of trees and green grass. A lot of golden fish were swimming in the small river and there were a lot of animals, such as birds, dogs, and

11、 rabbits in the garden. We had a good time playing with the animals. When it was the time for lunch, we went to the dinning hall. We had a very good meal there. Everything tasted good that day. In the afternoon, we played football on the new playground. And then we went to swim in the swimming-pool.

If you had another choice, would you prefer to spend your childhood in the countryside?If I had another choice, I would

13、 not spend my childhood in the countryside. Because I think the living conditions in the countryside is not so good as in the big cities. The children in the countryside will get less education than the children in the cities. We have more chances to play different kinds of games, especially compute

14、r games, then the children in the countryside. We can go to the McDonald, KFC, and Pizza Hut frequently to have a big meal. But there are still several advantages to live in the countryside. I would rather choose to visit the countryside on weekends or during the holidays, since the air is more fres

I think their childhood is some sort of miserable. At that time, their living condition was not so good. They had to do a lot of farm wo

For example, they need to wash the clothes, wash the dishes, and take care of the little babies when their parents were not at home. So they had less time to

We got to London on a mid-summers evening but the sky was still quite light. My father told me that London is much neare

20、r to the North Pole than Beijing so day is much longer than night in summer, while night is much longer than day during the winter. London is a really big city with lots of cars and heavy traffic. I won three races.What did you do in the weekends?Nearly every weekend my parents took me out to parks. There a

25、re lots of parks in London and my favorite is the Greenwich Park. Greenwich Park is well-known for its Observatory and Greenwich Meantime. There is also a playground and a deer park within it. In the deer park there are lots of deer and squirrels. The squirrels like to eat peanuts. Once I put a pean

26、ut in my hat and placed it on my lap. The squirrel bounded forwards and ate the peanut in the hat! I nearly touched the squirrels soft fur.What was my hobby in London?Reading was and still is my hobby. I really liked to go to local libraries near our home. The first time my father helped me ask for

27、a library card so you can borrow twelve books at one go. I started with picture books with more pictures than words, and later I could read books with more words than pictures, some with no pictures at all. I also started to borrow audio books so I could listen to them at home. Sometimes my parents

28、took me to the bookstores so that I could read newly published books. I usually sit on the floor while reading. I could always find some books of my liking. My favorite author is J. K. Rowing. She wrote the book Harry Potter series. I have read all the English version of the seven books now. Roald D

29、ahls books are good too: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator are the most entertaining. I also like Enid Blyton, David Henry Wilson, C.S.Lewis and Lemony Snicket. I like reading because it can make me more imaginative and give me more knowledge.How do you spend

30、 you holidays?In the school holidays I traveled with my parents to different places in or out of Britain. Weve been to the capital of France-Paris and climbed the Eiffel Tower; we visited Frances Disneyland too. Then we traveled to the capital of Italy-Rome and ate pizza on the street. Venice is a b

31、eautiful Water City in Italy. It is a marvelous place to have a holiday, but in the summer the mosquitoes were very bothering. English children like to pack sandwiches, crisps, biscuits, fruit and vegetables and sometimes a handful of sweets in their packed lunches but school dinners are different. We have fish and chips twice a week with carrots and peas. Sometimes we

35、eat garlic bread and shepherd pie, and sometimes we ate mashed potato. There were sauces to make the food taste better: gravy, ketchup, mayonnaise, etc and delicious puddings. There are puddings that I disliked too, for example custard and rice pudding. The rice puddings were not anything compared t

36、o my mothers porridge. Although I ate a lot of English food I still liked Chinese food. When the Spring Festival came, my fathers colleagues would come to our flat and made Chinese dumplings together. They were delicious.How did you feel about going back to China?I stayed in London for two years. We

37、 came back to China when I was six years old. I was very sad to leave my friends and my school in London and as a result I had a fever. I was so ill that I had to be carried to the hospital in an ambulance. The doctor said I was attacked bysome kind of virus that we dont know. She didnt give me any

38、medicine apart from some liquid to make me feel better. She also told me to drink a lot of water and have a rest. Several days later my parents took me to the hospital again to have a check. The doctor said I had been very brave and had defeated the virus and I would be healthy soon. Ten days later,

39、 I was healthy enough to go back to China.London has given me a lot of good memories. I hope one day in the future I could go back there, to study English and to meet my old friends.1.
