1、 英文歌曲在教学中运用摘要 将英文歌曲运用到英语教学中也存在其理论依据。英语教学中,把学唱英语歌曲作为一种教学手段时,应科学地选择和运用英语歌曲,方能达到预期的教学目的和教学效果。现在很多学校在英语教材中都有说唱(chant)和 歌唱(sing)两种形式来辅助教学。这种教学就是激发学习的兴趣,兴趣是推动学习的内在力量,是学生学习的强大动力,我们在教学过程中最关键的就是要培养学生们的兴趣。关键词 英语教学;英文歌曲 兴趣 教学效果音乐可以增强英语学习的趣味性。歌曲不但是一种音乐形式,而且是一种很重要的教育方式。把英文歌曲与英语教学密切 结合起来,可以激发学生的学习兴趣,陶冶情操,全面提高学生 素

2、质。英文歌曲教学,可以把所教英语知识或当天所学的英语单 词、句子填入乐曲中。乐曲有新曲,有旧调。用什么样的曲调, 视内容而定,灵活机动。各乐曲的旋律应简单易学且为学生所熟 悉。 借助歌曲独特的文化内涵和艺术魅力,将其运用于英语教学 中,可以使学生在快乐的旋律中得到审美的愉悦,增进情感的体 验,接受艺术的感染,加强记忆,极大地提高学习英语的兴趣和 效果。 在英语教学中运用英文歌曲能让学生从侧面更多地接触外国文化;同时,这种特殊的教学手段在实际教学运用中,可以创造 轻松愉快的学习环境,在激发学生学习兴趣方面有显著作用。运 用生动循环的韵律,把学生的感情带入到歌曲的特定情境中,学 生的感情与歌词的内

3、容产生共鸣,进而获得情感的愉悦。英语歌 中蕴涵着巨大的语言潜能和英语实践机会,使学生感知力、记忆 力、理解力、想象力和创造力都能够得到提高。一 英语歌曲作为教学资源的优势1. 符合学生的认知规律将英语歌曲引入教学符合从感知到理解的认识规律。它把语言知识融合于有趣的歌词中,将知识与趣味、抽象与形象紧密地结合起来,为学生提供更多的感性知识和形象材料;用旋律为学生架起了由感性认识通往理性认识的桥梁,使学生在学习过程中保持着高昂的斗志和浓厚的兴趣;在听、唱英语歌的过程中加深对所学内容的理解与巩固。2. 轻松激发学习者的热情与兴趣爱因斯坦说:“兴趣是最好的老师。”英语歌曲能以声情并茂的表现手段,极大的提

4、高学习者的学习兴趣和热情,使学生在有限时间里达到轻松快乐学习、自然习得的目的。特别是对于中小学生而言, 兴趣是不可缺少的内在动力。在实际教学过程中, 教师到底应该怎样更好的培养学生的兴趣呢? 针对小学生“坐不住, 坐不久, 爱动爱玩、爱唱、爱模仿、爱表现”的特点, 我认为小学英语教学不必像成人学习英语那死板枯燥, 应该让小学生知道原来英语课上是可以唱歌, 可以表演, 可以跳舞做游戏的方式来学习英语的。3. 英语歌曲素材丰富,选择余地大,而且容易获得。英语歌曲素材较为丰富,磁带、书籍、VCD、DVD、MP3、电视和网络上各种现成的歌曲等都可以作为学习的素材,而且随着社会、科技的发展,这些资源也变

5、得容易获取。4. 学习在听唱过程中增强对文化的认知文化是语言产生的土壤,在传统的英语教学中,教师往往比较重视语言的外在形式和语法结构,而忽视了语言的文化。致使学生难以透彻地理解语言,正确地使用语言。英语歌曲本身就是一种文化,它是人类生活、情感的反映。这种生动鲜活的学习方式更贴近生活,更容易激起学生的学习积极性,也更容易接受。5. 利用英语歌曲能提高英语鉴赏能力 英语歌词大都简洁优美,节奏或明快激昂或舒缓抒情,语法结构工整对仗,具有极高的欣赏和模仿价值。歌曲“Let It Be(顺其自然)”中唱到“When Ifind myself in times of trouble,Mother Mary

6、 comes to me speaking words of wisdom let it be.And in my hour of darkness ,she is standing right in front of me , speaking words of wisdom let it be,let it be 。读者可以看出这首歌曲歌词行文流畅,确实是学生写作的范例,欣赏这首歌曲,我们一方面被母亲对儿女在人生道路上所给予的无私帮助,深深的爱所感动,另一方面陶冶了我们的情操,同时又掌握了英语行文的语法结构,从而提高了我们的英语鉴赏能力。再如在“Yesterday Once More”中,

7、一开始就唱到When I was young ,I would listen to the radio waiting for my favourite song,这里包含了一个When引导的时间状语从句,和“waiting for my favourite song”这一现在分词作伴随状语的语法现象。即使这样的语法难点也在我们欣赏歌曲的同时被轻松掌握。二 英文歌曲在英语教学中的运用形式在英语教学中运用英文歌曲能让学生从侧面更多地接触外国文化;同时,这种特殊的教学手段在实际教学运用中,可以创造轻松愉快的学习环境,在激发学生学习兴趣方面有显著作用。但英文歌曲在英语教学中有哪些具体的运用呢?以下是

8、我的一些体会:1. 作为文章或讨论话题的导入 传统的导入是由教师直接引出一个话题或提出几个问题让学生展开讨论,学生对这种导入方式也都习以为常且失去兴趣了。课文的导入是课文讲解的奠基石。而良好的开始是成功的一半,好的导入可以活跃课堂气氛并调动学生的学习积极性,为课文的讲解做好铺垫。然而歌曲就是丰富课文导入方式的一种。而此时如果教师能找到相关的英文歌曲,先让学生欣赏,然后以某句歌词或这首歌所表达的内涵等作为切入点,进而展开讨论,相信学生此时会兴趣盎然。他们既感到熟悉,又有些新鲜,在轻轻松松中掌握了新知识。 2复习旧课 复习旧知识更是学生大唱英文歌曲的好时机。一曲曲优美、熟悉的旋律,把学生带入到以往

9、的日日夜夜,引发他们美好的回 忆,曾经学过的单词、句子如潺潺的溪水汩汩流出。在这种情 境氛围中,那些先前学习暂时有困难的学生也沉浸在成功的喜 悦中。所以,在每次教说唱完成新内容后,及时的复习可以巩固记忆,避免遗忘。复习应在愉快、有兴趣的情境下 进行,避免单调的重复练习,要多动脑筋,想办法采用各 种吸引小学生的方法达到预想的目的。巩固的形式可有跟唱、模仿唱、齐唱、领唱、部分轮唱、对唱、表演唱、说唱等,可灵活选用。复习的时间一般应安排在课前、课开始时、课结束前、课外活动进行。复习的方法可采用边唱边表演、边用教具边唱歌,用游戏的方法、接唱的方法,扮演歌曲中的角色等。3. 调节情绪 每节课上课前或下课

10、前,根据教学内容和学生的精神状态, 让学生唱英文歌曲或用录音机播放英文歌曲。学生们随着歌曲的旋律,耳中听、口 中唱、脑中想,各种感官协调并用,既放松肢体,又舒缓脑力,从而精神振奋,注意力重新集中起来。要做到这一 点教师首先要做到教态和蔼,仪态大方,语言语调规范,音量适中,语速也应快慢适度,努力创设问题情境,引趣动情,不断诱发学生的好奇心,使英语歌曲教学变得充满活力,引人入胜。这样,上课前唱能使学生从下课10分钟的活动中迅速转移到课堂教学中来;课中唱英文歌曲能消除学生的厌倦、疲惫心理,提高学习效率;下课前唱能使学生以饱满的情绪结束一节课的紧张学习,为转入下一节课的学习做好精神上的准备。这种轻松愉

11、快学习能充分发挥学生的智能潜力,使学生思路开阔, 思维敏捷。 4. 语音和语法的练习,可选择适当的歌曲对学生(尤其是新生)进行语音练习。如,在听Father and Son这首歌时,利用know,old,tomorrow;down,now;away,same;fault,talk这四组单词来巩固、纠正双元音和长元音音素的发音。此外,英语连读、弱读等现象在英文歌曲中也大量存在,可以让学生反复欣赏和跟唱来培养英语语感。若英文歌曲运用得当,也会收到事半功倍的效果。如歌曲The Sea Is My Home中有句歌词“When I was young ,Mama told me (that) my h

12、ome was the very sea.”这句话分析起来有三个语法现象:时间状语从句、间接引语、名词前加very可以起到强调、加强语气的作用。又如歌曲Auld Lang Syne中重点句是“Shoud auld acquaintance be forgot?”用到的是被动语态,可以借此次机会复习各种时态的被动语态,并做些相关的练习加以巩固。再如在学到分词时,给学生教唱Yesterday once more。先让学生听歌曲两遍并进行歌词填空。可以说,这是一首优美动听,百听不厌的歌曲,学生一听就十分着迷。5. 作为听力材料使用 传统的听力练习是学生根据录好的磁带或光盘来完成听力练习册上设置好的练

13、习。如果听力材料枯燥,且听的时间稍长,学生就会昏昏欲睡。为了打破这种传统的听力练习方式和提高学生的学习效率,教师可以把英文歌曲作为听力材料使用。 音韵优美和谐、节奏轻快鲜明的英文歌曲,是学生学习的好帮手。英文歌曲教学简便易行,操作性强,效果显著,能有效地激发学生学习英语的热情,深受学生欢迎。如设置根据歌词回答问题、判断正误或听写等练习,这样学生就做到了在“玩”中学习,效果也会事半功倍。当然,英文歌曲要注意科学地选用,切忌滥用,才有助于教学。而教师能否得当地利用并开展歌曲教学,从而达到优化英语课堂教学的效果,则是英文歌曲在英语教学中的又一重大贡献。三 英语歌曲的选择和应用要注意的问题1、英语教师

14、应大量收集有关的材料,如歌曲、录音带及有关的计算机软件,以便在教学中随时提取。教师应学会歌曲的创作。可以利用学生熟悉的曲调,配上想要学习的材料辅助教学。2、选择英语歌曲应考虑学生的年龄特点,注意难易知中。同时,要选择思想内容健康的歌曲,以利于对学生的教育。3、利用英语歌曲进行英语教学时要注意与目标相结合,也就是说,英语歌曲的使用应有明确的目标。4、英语歌词一般不需要详细讲解,只要学生能大致理解其意思即可,更不要作语法分析。5、教唱歌时最好加动作,让学生边唱边跳边演,充分调动他们的各种感官,这样会收到更好的效果。结语正是由于英文歌曲在英语教学中的运用符合学生的年龄心理特征和认知规律,也符合生理学
