3、trument and avionic equipment.Describe the functionality of every component in the ARINC-429 interfacing system.Familiarization with ARINC-429 transmit and receive circuit.,Aircraft ARINC-429 Communication,ARINC 429 Data Buses,An ARINC 429 bus(channel)consists of a single Twisted Shielded Wire Pair(
4、TSWP),with wire A of slate color and wire B of white color.,The shield of the TSWP must be grounded at EACH end and at ALL junctions along the transmission bus.,ARINC 429 buses are unidirectional and transfer serial data in ARINC 429 format from a transmitter to a receiver.With bi-directional transm
5、ission we will use 2 separate channels or buses.,A transmitter could talk to a number of receivers(max.20)on one bus.Each receiver willhave to monitor the receiving line for applicable data,it do not have to acknowledge thereception of the data.,The ARINC data buses must be identified by name,e.g.,W
6、XRCP,CDUCL,VHFL1,etc.,ARINC 429 Signal Characteristics,A data bit of 1 consists of a high period followed by a null period.A data bit of“0 consists of a low period followed by a null period.There are two signal transmission rates:low speed of 12.5 Kbits/s,and high speed of 100.0 Kbits/s.An ARINC 429
