1、neithernor的用法总结neither : 两者都不I. neither nor： “既不也不” 或 “和都不”， 通常连接两个对等的成分，用于否定两者。如I have neither time nor money. 我既无时间又无钱。 I neither smoke nor drink. 我既不抽烟也不喝酒。 Its neither too cold nor too hot in Beijing. 北京天气既不太冷也不太热。He neither knows nor cares what happened. 他对所发生的事不闻不问。 This is neither my fault no
2、r yours. 这既不是我的错误，也不是你的错误。 【注】但有时后一成分可能省略与前一成分相同的词。如：Mary neither likes math nor (likes) history. 玛丽既不喜欢数学也不喜欢历史。 II. neithernor连接两个分句，并且neither位于句首时，两个分句的主、谓语都要部分倒装。Neither has she changed her mind, nor will she do so. 她即没有改变主意，也不打算这样做。Neither has Pauline wanted to rent a house, nor has her husband.珀琳不想租房，她丈夫也不想租房。（珀琳和她丈夫都不想租房。）【注】有时，neither 引导的是述谓成分，而nor则引导整个分句。如：He neither likes fiction, nor does he like poetry. 他既不喜欢小说，也不喜欢诗歌。 III. 若连接两个成分作主语，其谓语动词的单复数遵循“就近原则”： Neither they nor Jack was at home. 他们和杰克都不在家。 但在非正式文体中也可一律用复数： Neither Jim nor Jack were at home. 吉姆和杰克都不在家。
