We have more chances to meet foreigners now no matter which kinds of job were involved in, while therere more conflicts made because of language misunderstanding or culture differences. If we both speak English, we could make ourselves easily understood so that decrease

In promoting Chinese culture to foreign countries, English does give a hand.The ability to speak another language adds the chance to survive in the social competition. The fact is that more and more Chinese people are capable of speak

More and more big companies are requiring its stuff to speak English fluently, even in smaller companies, the ability to speak another language can help you be recognized in many competitors and have more opportuniti
15、es to promote. I should admit that learning English is not all about advantages. Of course, such kind of compulsory English ignores the willingness of students, but according to the reasons I give above, you can see that compulsory English has more benefits than harm. Although many students are forced to learn what they dont really fond of, they will come to realize the differences between those who cant speak English and themselves in years to come. You never doubt the rationality of using the hammer because its useful. Thats exactly why I am saying: Learning English is necessary.
