4、的不同之处。在当今这个社会,英语以成为世界语言,怎样学好英语怎样,已经是一件重要的事。其中,听、说、读、写、译是英语学习的五种重要技能。长期以来,许多英语学习者对听力学习的重视程度不够。殊不知在英语学习中,听、说、读、写,等方面是相辅相成,不可分割的,忽略其中的任何一方面都不利于英语学习水平的提高。我们要和别人交流就要说话,当然就要听懂。如何轻松的听懂英语,使英语的听力变的轻松起来。我们虽然在大学学习英语,但是有个别同学的听力仍然没有提高,我相信上课的听力学习是远远不够的,因此,我们也要注重课下的听力理解训练。指导学生课外进行泛听。听力课时有限,每周一节的听力课不能保证有效地提高学生的听力技能

For a long time, English learners attention paid to studying in listening is not enough. In English study, all listening, s

10、peaking, reading and writing are to complement each other, inalienable; neglecting any respect among them is unfavorable to the English study level. We must learn from the others, and understand each other. We study English at the university, but individual schoolmates listening comprehension is sti

11、ll not very effectively improved. I believe listening practice in class was so far insufficient; therefore, we have to pay great attention to the listening comprehension out of class or after class. The listening class hours are limited. Listening class once a week cannot effectively enhances studen

12、ts listening skill. The teacher should instruct the student to listen to English radio programs, to watch English television programs and English video recording, to listen to English songs and so on, which help the student get familiar with different voices, ages, local pronunciations, to expand kn

13、owledge, to acquire the language feel, to enhance reaction capacity and to achieved the goal of enhancing their listening.Before I go on to describe the argument for listening and how to carry out the English listening practice, I would like to say a few words on my students goals and needs.1) 25% o

14、f the group use English with Americans and British people on a regular basis at work.2) 50% of the group are learning English so as to use it in an English speaking country and 25% to live and work there.3) 87.5% put it as a specific goal to understand native speakers and speak fluently. (The other

15、12.5% put it as a specific goal to speak like a native speaker.)This shows a great need and desire to practice and to be trained in listening comprehension, particularly with authentic materials featuring native speakers speech and a need to be presented with and become aware of the features of thes

16、e: stress, intonation, weak forms, elision, assimilation, catenation, using fillers, pauses, repetition, self correction, interruptions and all the discourse features used to signal a speakers intention.Some of these features are of particular importance to the students. Being Chinese, as there is a

17、 noticeable difference between Chinese and English in terms of word and sentence stress, intonation and weak forms.1.1 Learning English should follow the principle from simple to complex, from easy to difficult, and from rough to subtle. 18、 try to avoid pursuing whats beyond our reach in English learning. If we choose and study some difficult, complex, subtle materials at the very beginning with the hope of having better effect, it is proved to be a wrong attitude by practice. If learning materials go far beyond learners actual langua

19、ge level, such challenges arent desirable and just making learners frustrated and painful. It is the worst thing that learners interest and confidence are destroyed by unsuitable materials. If some English works seem too difficult, complex and subtle to us, I must point out, it lies in our lack of s

20、imilar life experiences apart from the obstacles of language itself (vocabulary and grammar). Because were in too low life levels with too superficial thoughts, its natural we fail to understand the profound meaning of those articles1.2 Learning English should follow the natural sequence of listenin

About 45% of an adults time is spent in listening to other people, listening to the radio, listening to the music. In linguistics,giving the students a lot of

33、listening activities is a good way of enlarging their vocabulary. On the other hand, it also helps the students improve their listening comprehension. A lot of students have their own listening habits. Some students often try to understand each word or each sentence. They will think hard when they m

34、eet some difficult words or sentences, and a great many students could understand the material directly, They often translate the English into Chinese in their heart, thinking that only in this way can the sentence be understood. This is also a reason, trying to understand each word is difficult, an

You should catch the most important points.Then how to improve the students listening skill?We know the biggest difficulty between mother language learning and foreign language learning lies in the language environment.
