How to arouse the students interest in English by creating a lot of situations of learning English and improving my teaching.Stage 2 Problem A

17、ents cant. Most of students dont know the techniques for learning English. Moreover, they are afraid of making efforts still, most of students are accustomed to the subject that is nothing to do with English. That is, most of students dont know the knowledge of English, the way of learning English.

18、They think learning English is not useful. As a result, they feel difficult when they are asked to do some exercisesThe analytic methodThe phrase “ some of in some of my students dont like to study English , made me think of the other side of the issue: Some of my other students which are a few stud

Is it also the case that most of them dont like to study English either? if on the other hand, all of my colleagues students like, my problem is actually caused by myself, not by my students .Probably dont like to do ,which I asked them to do the exercise After the analytic me

21、thod and cause analysis, I feel quite strongly that my poor design of learning English situation is the primary cause of my students dislike of learning English. Socratic dialogueMost of students dont like learning English I taught.Why do I want to create situation of learning English?Because of man

22、y students dont like learning English. Why do I think that it is useful for creating situations?Because creating situations can arouse students interest in learning English . How to create situations?I can use English song, tongue twisters, games, children rhymes to create.Why dont they like learnin

23、g English r? Well, they never learn English before they enter Grade one Junior. Now they learn English as they learn Chinese .And English is difficult for them to study. Presently, what is the problem in the course of learning English?I think It is difficult to understand the meaning of English sent

24、ences .Indeed, through my problem analysis, I have come to realization: It is necessary to study English, then design the techniques for teaching aspects of English The result of the analysis may indicate that students feel they need interest relaxing and vital situations of learning. As traditional

25、 teaching and learning, they dont like learning English at all. They all hope that teachers improve their teaching methods to enhance students interest. Stage 3Project DesignI am entering into third stage of the project now. I have four things to do: (1) To formulate my project objective. (2) To for

26、mulate my project hypothesis. (3) Spell out my project rationale. (4) Design classroom teaching tasks.Through the problem analysis in Part 2, I came to know that the problem that most of my students dont like study English is mainly due to my students interests of learning English. I have made up mi

27、nd to start a project to solve the problem, 、My project objective is:To bridge the gap between classrooms language teaching and real life language use and improve communicative competence 、My project in English is communication ability.Students interests in learn English can be aroused by creating a

28、 lot of learning situations and better-designed methodsSo I call my project: To create learning English situation and arouse students interest . 、My Possible solutions:For this reason, in my opinion, I have provided some possible solutions, which are follows: First,read a lot of English, beginning f

29、rom junior time read many English stories and jokes. The stories and jokes were interesting. Thus they have got to be more and more interested in English learned a lot of the language through reading widely.Second, have kept a diary in English. just write down what they do, what they see and what th

30、ey think of every day. They try their best to express themselves the most simple words. In this way they have improved their writing ability a lot. On the other hand, this diary writing has also helped them to form the habit to think in English.I asked students to copy some important structures and

31、grammar difficulties .If they have free time, they should read them loudly for some minutes. So does it, I think it is very good for students to master useful sentences At last ,In junior middle school teaching , they are many methods to arouse the students interests ,in order to improve interests o

32、f learning English to them ,I made some projects such as : Tongue Twisters ,Games ,Children Rhymes and Verses , Songs .The project rationale. 1、The role of classroom activity and its purposeGenerally speaking, vocabulary has become one of the vital standards in English study. for example, English ma

33、jors are required to master 5000-6000 words, Though vocabulary plays a core role in learning a foreign language , it seems that it has been one of the principal obstacles to most people for a long time because the required vocabulary is so large and many a word has more than one meaning.Id like to g

34、ive classroom activity the purpose of acceptance and understanding, making it as lively and intuitive as possible. Classroom activity isnt to be judged as performance, this means that the students should feel relaxed and free about leaning a word and sentence or answering questions. They should also

35、 see that classroom activity has purpose and they themselves play a core role in the classroom, activity. ( The teacher doesnt have to evaluate all the tire)2、 The role of the studentsI would like the students to feel that learning is a collaborative endeavor and not a competitive one. They should c

36、ome to realize that mastering large number of vocabulary can help them to listen to the teacher or others and understand the content better and express their own ideas better.3、the role of the teacherStudents should realize that the teacher has many roles in the classroom, not just that of evaluator

37、. The chief role is a leader. Id like my students to get used to being responsible to their own learning and not depend on the teacher all the time.4、The type of classroom tasks used I think all of above can he felt with designing and using appropriate tasks in the lesson. . 41、 by their classmates, or they dont read the text and express their opinions at all.How does learners vocabulary increase?If the classroom activity design is good, lively, intuitive, scientific and reasonable, they can understand teacher easily and understand the vocabulary of the text, the can read

42、and remember the vocabulary easily. Of course, they have confidence in studying. The students can spell the words truly, they have confidence in studying farther. 46、5. From the project I have learned that situation-creating and arousing student interests were very important for learning language. I found there were many situations in which we used more than one method, for this reason alone, it was valuable to integrate the language skills, but there were other reasons why integration can enhance the students communicative competence. Many educationalists stress the importance of creating learning situation and arousing students interests and it can improve their communicative competen
