1、How can we become good learneHow can we become good learner? 第一课时教学设计 (1a-1c) 一、教材分析 本课是新目标英语九年级Unit 1的第一课时,学习的主题是怎样学习英语、学习英语过程中遇到的困难及解决问题的方法。通过学习本课,除了教会学生基础知识之外,还要帮助学生掌握学习英语的方法,为学生实际学习奠定基础! 二、学生分析 九年级的学生已经掌握了一些词汇和句型,具备了一定的听、说、读、写能力,且有自己的学习方法。本节课可以让学生们互相交流,取长补短。 三、教学目标 知识目标: 1. 学会用by短语表达学习方法。 2. 重点词
2、汇:textbook 3. 主要句型:How do you study for a test? I study by working with a group. 能力目标: 1通过小组活动,学生能与同学们交流和讨论学习方法。 2通过本课的学习,培养学生根据自己的实际,采用适当的学习方法,提高自身英语水平。 情感目标: 1鼓励学生参与活动,形成相互交流、相互促进的学习氛围,使其体验成就感,提高学习兴趣。 2通过学生之间多层次、多方位的合作,培养他们团结协作、互助友爱的精神。 四、教学重点、难点 重点:学会用by短语表达学习方法。 难点:正确运用英语表达自己学习英语的方式及遇到的困难。 五、教学方
3、法 媒体辅助法、情景教学法、小组合作及个人表达相结合。 六、 教学手段 1. 多媒体课件直观教学 2. 任务型活动教学 3. 小组探索合作学习 七、教学过程 Step1. Warming -up 1. Ask some students about their summer holidays. How do you like your summer holiday? What did you do in your summer holiday? 设计思路:通过与学生交谈暑假生活,既拉近了与学生的关系,又营造了轻松愉快的课堂气氛,使师生有了一次心灵的沟通,为本课学习新知识做了很好的铺垫。 2.T

Let students discuss the ways to study English. 设计思路:明确英语的重要性,如何学英语就是学生很关心的问题了,从而吸引学生的注意,导入本课内容。 Step3 Presentation 1.Show the list of the ways. I study by working with friends. by
7、making word cards. by reading the textbook. by listening to tapes. by asking the teacher for help. by studying with a group. 2.Ask students to read the phrases together. 3.Do activity 1a. Ask students to check the ways they study English . Then encourage students to show more ways they study English

Eg: I study by studying grammar . by watching English programs on TV. by enjoying English songs. by taking part in English classes after school . by reading English magazines and newspapers . by surfing the internet. by having the English class carefully. by finishing my homework seriously. 4. 9、lain something about the structures “by +doing”. 设计思路:多媒体呈现,便于学生能直观学习,吸引学生的注意力。这个环节如果学生能补充出更多的学习方式,学生可以开阔视野,为下面口语对话环节做好铺垫。 Step4 Pairwork 1.Now in pairs, ask your partner how he or she studies English like this: A: How do you study English? 10、ogues. 设计思路:使学生之间互补,给学生提供更大的语言实践空间,激活学生头脑中已有的信息,并使这些信息和所学的内容结合,为开展合作学习和展示个人能力创造机会。学生自编对话,达到灵活运用语言的目的。表演为学生提供了一个可操作的模式,以任务型的活动方式,通过合作学习,给学生提供平等的说英语的机会,这样既创造了轻松愉快、自然和谐的课堂气氛,增强学生的自信心,又促进了交际活动的展开。 Step5 Listening. 1.Look at pictures.Before listening to the tape,the teacher ask a few questions. 1)How man
11、y people do you think there are in the conversation? 2)What are their names? 3)What do you think they will talk about in the conversation? 2.Play the recording, students finish the work. Check the answers. 3.Fill the blank and read the tapescript together. 设计思路:培养学生良好的听力习惯。良好的听力习惯对于英语的学习非常重要,而且对于缺乏英
12、语环境的学生来说,在课堂上应最大限度地为学生创造听、读英语的机会。 Step6 Group work 1. Five students with a group. Make conversations about how they study for a test. 2.Each group chooses a student.Show their results by doing a report. 3.Competetion : At last,choose the best group. 4.Add more ways you sometimes study and make the d
13、ialogues. 设计思路:发展学生的说、读、写能力,给学生提供自主学习和相互交流的机会以及充分表现和自我发展的空间,最终提高综合语言运用能力,培养学生的口语能力、合作能力和自主学习的能力。 Step7 Exercise Finish some exercises in class and check the answers. 设计思路:通过当堂做练习,来检查本节课学生对知识点掌握情况。 Step8 Grammar Focus and summary 1Read the questions and answer in the grammar box. Step9 Homework Please write down their own ways of studying English: How to study English? 设计思路:通过写作,检查学生对于本节课重点词组的掌握情况,突出重点,突破难点,培养学生的写作技能和书面表达能力。 八、教学反思 在本课教学中,我创设了与学生实际生活相联系的语境,让学生理解、学习、应用语言;采用任务型教学途径,设计不同层次的任务,满足不同的需要,让学生看到成就,体验成功,激励其学习积极性。在教学过程中注重语言能力的培养,让学生在用中学,学中用,使用和学得到有机结合,在完成任务的过程中发展了他们听、说、读的技能以及交流与合作的能力。通过本课的学习,学生不仅掌握了学习语言的方法,了解了学习中遇到的困难,而且学会了相互合作、相互交流,学会倾听别人的意见,从而形成良好的个性品格,为他们的终身学习做了良好的铺垫。回顾本节课,还存在很多不足,如:对于某些指令还不是很清楚,尤其是对于知识点的总结部分,应该在平时多加练习,长此以往学生的综合能力才能有所提高。
