What can we call this phenomenoncultural integration. By saying cultural integration, it refers to the process by
3、 which different cultures become integrated through communication, transportation and trade. People in different countries communicate with each other and products from different areas do trade among the whole world. In Sara Bongiornis book A Year Without Made In China, she told us how difficult her
4、 familys life was without products from China. Nowadays, Cultural integration has become a trend of the world. People can see Hollywood movies all around the world and people can find Chinese products in almost every country. It is inevitable that different cultures will influence each other and abs
5、orb some elements from this influencing process. However, cultural integration does not mean the abandon of cultural diversity. Instead, we should respect and also adapt to various cultures. Where there is culture difference, there is conflict. I think the best way to solve conflict is to put onesel
6、f in other peoples shoes. People need to think from others perspective and adjust themselves to the diversities of culture. For example, KFC has made and is making efforts in localizing with Chinese features. China now has more than thirty places - 1 - being added into the The World Heritage List. C

In modern society, human beings should keep diversity on the road of integrating, which means to accept both globalization and localization. In todays world, globalization dev
8、elops rapidly and spreads largely. But at the same time, localization should also be emphasized as our human beings relying too much on world-wild thing. We human beings should not only focus on the integrating thing, but the diverse thing. Though there are languages we cannot understand, there are conversations we cannot figure out and there are jokes we cannot laugh at, we should still keep cultural diversity while in the process of cultural integration.
