I expect to fly high in the blue sky, while the reality is that Im over-weighted and I can only walk or run on
2、the ground. Should I be disappointed and lose heart at that? There is always distance between expectation and reality. Sometimes its as narrow as a brook that we can easily stride to the other side; but more often, its ocean-wide that we fail to see the end. No matter how far the distance is, we sho
3、uld never shrink back but continue the pursuit of our dreams. Worry and flinch wont help us solve the problems. Many things we expect today regarded as impossible may become a reality tomorrow. The great inventor Edison stuck to his expectation and tried 1600 times before he eventually found the mos
4、t suitable material to make an electric bulb. All the miracles in human history start from expectations. Its our expectations that make us strike for a brighter life and future. If Wright Brothers gave up to the reality, man can only stay under the sky, and the development of airplanes may be delaye
5、d by hundreds of years. If so, we may have to take a train from Nanchang to Beijing for more than one day rather than by plane for less than 4 hours. Thats must be very terrible. Our ways from reality to the reach of expectation is a long tiresome marathon. The pursuit of our expectations outweighs
6、everything else. Every footstep we make forward, every struggle to stop us from giving up draw us closer to the destination. Even though we are not the winner for the time being, at least we have strengthened our mind and will. Whats more, we are very likely to get a surprising gift different from o
7、ur original expectations, a new success in other aspects. Reality may hurt us; expectation can fail us. But we can never let the distance between them defeat us. Lets all be determined fighters to fight against harsh reality for our beautiful expectations. Keep trying; we can finally strike the happy endings.
