Its the place you left behind when you went off to college. Its the place you were always itching to go back during the holiday .Its your memor
2、ies. Its a part of you. As college student, hometowns were more than just a resting place for when our “college lives” got to be too exhausting. Though sometimes hometowns mean heartache, pain, and memories that wed rather forget, they represent a piece of which we are whether we like it or not. You
3、 can always run from where youre from, but that doesnt change where youre from. I grew up in a relatively small villageXiapu. Whenever asked to describe it, I like to compare it to Xiamen. You say hello to your neighbors (whom youve known for years) with a friendly grin as you walk your dog down the
4、 street. You attend the Minority activity with genuine enthusiasm, and you cant go to the grocery store without running into someone you know. To many, this could seem pretty great or it could seem absolutely terrible. Ive leaned on both sides of that spectrum throughout my life. I have a very stron
5、g attachment to my hometown. Its where I was born and grew up for my entire life (minus a few years of dorm life). Its where I met my best friends, its where I fell in love, got my heart broken and then fell in love again, and its where I learned some of the hardest life lessons at the worst times. My hometown seeps deep into my soul, but Ive never resented it. I love my hometown. I always will.
