2、competitiveness of hotel industry, A high level of service quality, not only can give deep impression for guests, but also can make the guests feel honor, which will set up a good brand and image for the hotel. I have developed my service consciousness, and formed the good habit of smile in the face

3、 of the guests. Service skills, is the foundation of the quality of service. It includes two aspects : service technology and service skills. Service technologies such as logging, departure formalities, answering the telephone, etc. which often are measured and evaluated by speed, quality standard a

4、nd quantity standard. Service skills depends on the different situations, different time, different service object. It needs flexible service skills so as to achieve good results. For instance to deal with guest complaints, flexible manner should apply for different object. In the process of room se

5、rvice, lack of efficiency will result in guests dissatisfaction and complaints. Therefore, providing fast service is very important. For example, in Westin Blue Bay Hotel, finishing a check-out time is 25 minutes, finishing a living rooms , 15 minutes, arranging a spare room , 5 minutes; How does yo

6、ur internship experience contradict or challenge the knowledge you gained from your coursework? Guests came to the front desk are a diverse group, different personality. It was very difficult to quickly and accurately grasp the needs of guests. Especially when guests have complaints, I have trouble

7、to console the guests, deal with the problem rapidly and accurately, which is related to many departments. Another challenge for me, many foreign guests have different culture background and different custom. Consider the general workplace skills and behaviors: professionalism & work ethic, problem

8、solving, communication, and collaboration (see descriptions above to assist you). How are you developing or enhancing these skills and behaviors during your internship? 9、 behaviors. professionalism & work ethic The guest is always right As long as on the premise of not breaking the law and moral, can maximize meet the guests. The guest is never wrong, wrong will only is our, only sincere service, for customers smile High service level is the important content of hot

10、el services. It includes the following several aspects. a good service attitude is the key to good services. what the guests want is friendly feeling, comfort , like at home. A good server must be: active, enthusiastic, patient, careful, considerate. problem solving When the guests have some require

11、ments , out of my responsibility, I also try my best to help and convey his requirements .Even some request are not reasonable, I will seek other solutions or refuse in the tone of euphemism. There is competition between each job in the hotel, which cause staff tensive relationship. When helping eac

12、h other, relationship is harmonious. Communication Firstly,learning to listen to others, Secondly, being considerate, which is helpful to understand guests and establish good relation with the staff. Thirdly when performing a order issued by manager, It is the right way never to ask why, just need t

13、o ask how to do it because the managers dont have time to explain it. But as a new one to the hotel, I have many question, I have to ask the staff and the supervisor. I always be in modesty when asking knowledge from them. collaboration Everyone try to do a good job so as to let others recognize myself. in Westin Blue Bay Hotel, my duty is help my supervisor and colleague anytime when they busy, which practice my team work and collaboration sprits.
