The novel described the experience of three youngers in the south pacific ocean. The hero Palp
2、h Pover loved the nature form his childhood and dreamed of the distant coral islands, when he was 15, his father agreed his idea of travel all over the world by boat. Unfortunetly, the ship met with the storm. After that, two friends Jack and Peterkin and him were blown to the coral island, began a
3、memorable adventurous life. After they were thrown into the sea, they found the coral island. They used the limited things to make the house and maketheri meals ,which include one telescope, a small broken pocket-knife with only one blade besides having two or three pieces out of its edge, an old br
4、ass pencil-case without any lead in it, a piece of thin rope about six yards long and one axe. They walked all over the island, and found many useful things, such as the coconuts and other things. During the phase, they even made a ship, and saw the penguins. Thoungh they met with the storm again on
5、 the way they are back to the island, they are still back to their house safely. Then they lived happily on the island. Strange creatures on the island landscape, beautiful tropical scenery was fascinated by three children. But they soon discovered that the life in the island was not peace and quiet
6、 on the surface, the atrocity of the anthropophagi deeply shocked them and made them very angry, they extended a helping hand to the victims ignoring the dangerous with the braveness and intelligence. Occasionally, they found another ship. After having cut their names on a piece of iron-wood, they w
7、ent on board. Finally ,they went home. The spirit that loving life, exploring breavlly and helping others of these three youngers has been fully demonstrated in the book, and gived the readers a deep impression.
