1、The Power of InnovationThe Power of Innovation Nowadays, many products are marked with made in China. We are proud of it. But have we ever wondered why they are made in China instead of created by China? I think one word could lead us to the answer-that is innovation. What is innovation? Innovation
2、is a change in the thought process for doing something, or the useful application of new inventions or discoveries. Once there were two different attitudes towards innovation and they led to two different results. One was about development and prosperity. But the other was about shame and poverty. H
3、istory tells us the truth. In the 18th century, innovation gave birth to the use of steam power and the invention of spinning machine. These two inventions partly contributed to the Industrial Revolution in the United Kingdom and laid a solid foundation for a great empire. Because of innovation, the
4、 UK became a powerful country. Because of innovation, we have to learn to speak English. Even now, I am standing here making an English speech because of innovation. However, in the 19th century, the Qing Dynasty was at the edge of falling. One of the reasons was that lots of people at that time loo
5、ked down on the inventions coming from western countries. They thought these things were nothing but mean tricks. What they had in mind was some stubborn thoughts and out-of-date morals. Because of the lack of innovation, the Qing Dynasty finally came to its end. Not only did innovation play an impo
6、rtant role in the development of a nation, but also it is crucial to personal development. Without innovations, we might be under pressure to keep our jobs. Without innovations, a company may find it difficult to earn its living. Because new ideas are being worked out to make products or service better. Those who fail to bring forth new ideas are less likely to be successful. All in all, if we want to achieve success in career, if we want to make China a prosperous country, we cannot live without innovation.
