1、小学英语语篇教学,沁阳一小 刘斐,周所周知,外语教学的最终目的是要使学生能用目的语来交流思想和获取信息。英语中的语篇教学就是学生获取语言信息和运用语言的重要途径,是小学英语教学的重头戏之一,是小学生进行听说读写的好材料。教材中的每一篇英语短文又都有很好的环境作为背景。,浅谈小学英语语篇教学:,语篇教学是指在具体语境中教学单词和句型,主张把单词融入句子中教学,从整体入手,展现给学生完整的语言概念。语篇教学从理解整篇内容入手,运用所学语言和知识游览和捕捉重要语言线索,对所读文章获得一个总体印象,然后分段(语篇)找出中心思想,和重要信息,对文章进行表层理解。,浅谈小学英语语篇教学:,我们可以从文章背

2、景入手,抓住其关键词,从小培养学生的英语阅读理解能力。如果纯粹的停留在教文章的句子、单词、片段等知识点或从文中语法进行慢慢推敲、挖掘,而忽略了文章本身的情境和文化作为支撑,必将影响学生对于文章的理解,甚至是一生的英语学习。因此,我们必须研究教材,设计好每课的语篇教学。,浅谈小学英语语篇教学:,根据小学英语教材的编排特点,每个模块第一部分是语言功能,是语篇的整体呈现,第二部分是重点词汇、句型,是语言的结构。功能在结构之前,语篇在词汇、句型之前。我们以前教学小学高年级英语的课堂模式是:先由第二部分重点句型入手,第一课时完成重要句型、词汇的学习,第二课时再进入第一部分话题篇的课堂教学模式。教材是课堂

3、教学的蓝本,教和学的理念与手段主要依靠教材来体现。那么我们顺应教材的编排意图,改变教学思路,尝试直接从第一部分切入,在语篇内容整体呈现的情境中学习语言的教学策略。,浅谈小学英语语篇教学:,小学英语语篇教学的课堂结构,一、阅读前活动(Before-reading activities)二、阅读中活动(During-reading activities)三、阅读后活动(Post-reading activities),一、阅读前活动(Before-reading activities),预测活动,头脑风暴,预先教授一些影响语篇阅读理解的关键性词汇,学生在没有阅读语篇文本内容、只看到语篇标题的情况下

4、,能够通过想象,大致估计出这个语篇是关于什么方面的内容的。,教Pen friend时,教师先不直接进入语篇本身的教学,首先向学生提出问题,如:Do you want to make friends with somebody?What do you want to know about him or her?If you want to make friends with somebody?等等或者更多。,一、阅读前活动(Before-reading activities),学生的思维活动顿时被激活了,纷纷举手发问:1.Whats his/her name?2.How old is he/sh

5、e?3.Where is he/she from?4.What does he/she like?,一、阅读前活动(Before-reading activities),5.Whats his/her favourite sport?6.What subject is he/she good at?7.Can he/she.?这些问题的提出恰到好处地为新的语篇教学的展开奠定了基础。,一、阅读前活动(Before-reading activities),二、阅读中活动(During-reading activities),整体感知语篇(目的),(1)找出关键词句(2)根据语篇内容判断句子的正误(

6、3)在语篇中填写所缺的句子(4)代词的指代判断和生词的词义猜测,三、阅读后活动(Post-reading activities),1、跟录音读(模仿),2、复述故事,3、表演故事,4、改写故事,再次感受语篇内容,获得语言技能,语篇教学中生词的处理,生词较少的情况,(在大篇幅的语篇教学中用得较多),语篇教学中生词的处理,生词较多的情况,(普遍学生英语基础薄弱或词汇量大适用),语篇教学中语法的处理,涉及语篇理解的语法,况,案例分析:,Shenzhou V flew into space,外研版第八册 Module 7 Unit 1,Shenzhou V flew into space,一、教学内容
