2、 we Chinese often make our food not only delicious but also very pleasing to our senses and many of dishes have very and fancy names.However,in contrast the west people pay more attention to the nutrition of food rather than the looks of it.Although the aims of cooking food are the same, they still
3、keep variety.We can also conclude that the ancient entertainment of the West are quite different from ours in a great extent,too. Reason for difference 1: Nomadic civilization & agricultural civilization As we all know ,China is a country which has a long history of planting.Although the nomadic nat
4、ions had invaded China twice and had been controlling the whole country for many years.It still couldnt change China into a nomadic country.While in the west,most European countries are living a nomadic life.Generally speaking,the nomadic nations are more violent than the agricultural nations.So mos
5、t sports like Racing,Boxing, Archery,Wrestle and so on are origins from the West.But to Chinese,an agricultural nations, recreations like Going for a walk in the country in spring,Yangko dancing are popular among the people.Thats why historans often said “The historical view consider that nomadic na
6、tions created sports culture while agricultural nations depreciated sports culture.” Reason for difference 2:Visiting friends&Bathroom contacting In ancient China,inviting friends to your house or to some place where the scenery is very beautiful is a good way to communacating with others and I thin
7、k its also a good method to cultivate ones taste when friends get together composing poems,writing articles or just stay silent to enjoy the beautiful scenery.But in the West,it is true that they are in favour of making friends in public bathroom,they also like share their ideas there.Some experts s
8、ay thats because the ancient Westners think striping off all there is a good way to show trust and thats a way of telling “See,theres nothing hiden in my clothes,Im sincere to you.”But I think the reason why the westners like making friends is that its a good way to relax their body.They may think i
9、ts a way to stay away with violence. Reason for difference 3:Bloody for fun&Harmony with nature Like the first reason I have analysed,the west nations admire violence more or less.They love hunt they love fight they love anything that could make them feel energetic or could show off their power.The
10、famous ancient Roman Colloseum is the best proof of it.While for the Chinese ,flying a kite can be the best representation of keeping harmonious with the nature. So thats what I want to say about the ancient entertainmens differences between China and the West.Nowadays, the earth becomes a small viliage different cultures has mixed together to become better. But I still think we should cares more about our traditional culture.
