The Boys amused themselves by throwing stones into the pond so as to make them skip on top of the water. The stones were flying thick and fast and the Boys were enjoying th

2、emselves very much; but the poor Frogs in the pond were trembling with fear. At last one of the Frogs, the oldest and bravest, put his head out of the water, and said, Oh, please, dear children, stop your cruel play! Though it may be fun for you, it means death to us! These boys ignored the frogs re

3、quest and still threw stones into the pool for fun. So the frogs had to move to another pool. When the summer came again, there were so many mosquitos that the boys could not sleep well. It is the disappearance of the frogs result in that. So the boys went to many pools to find the frogs driven away

4、 by them. At last, they found the frogs and requested them move back to the original pool. The forgave the boys and returned to the old pools. The boys and the frogs lived happily. _Always stop to think whether your fun may not be the cause of anothers unhappiness. Learn to forgive others with a bro

5、ad mind. 2THE GOATHERD AND THE WILD GOATS One cold stormy day a Goatherd drove his Goats for shelter into a cave, where a number of Wild Goats had also found their way. The Shepherd wanted to make the Wild Goats part of his flock; so he fed them well. But to his own flock, he gave only just enough f

6、ood to keep them alive. When the weather cleared, and the Shepherd led the Goats out to feed, the Wild Goats scampered off to the hills. 7、know how you would treat us later on, if some strangers should come as we did. Then this wild goats left the shepherd and go back to grasslands. With abundant food, they lived happily .But one day a snowstorm came, they couldnt find any food. So they had to ask the shepherd for help. They went to th

8、e shepherds home. The shepherd took them in, but they found the shepherd only gave them a little food. At last, they were starved to death. It is unwise to treat old friends badly for the sake of new ones. When we accept others help, we should know gratitude. 3THE COCK AND THE JEWEL A Cock was busil

The fox cheated him that there was someone in forest wanting to challenge. The lion was so angrily that he rushed to the place the fox said. The

14、n he was trapped into a trap. The fox got the lamb and ate it. What is evil won is evil lost. Introspection is very important. 5 THE FROGS AND THE OX An Ox came down to a reedy pool to drink. As he splashed heavily into the water, he crushed a young Frog into the mud. The old Frog soon missed the li

15、ttle one and asked his brothers and sisters what had become of him. A _great big_ monster, said one of them, stepped on little brother with one of his huge feet! Big, was he! said the old Frog, puffing herself up. Was he as big as this? Oh, _much_ bigger! they cried. The Frog puffed up still more. H

16、e could not have been bigger than this, she said. The old frog could not puffed up any more. So he decided to challenge the monster. He found the OX and knew the OX was really big, but he believed he could beat him. He said “You monster, I would beat you.” “ you was so small that I can beat you so easily. But i cannot promise you can survive.” The OX said. Hearing that, the old frog was so angrily and he jumped to hit the OX. At last, he was crushed by the OXs feet. Blind pride lead to death.
