2、一课时 New words teaching + New sentences teaching + Listening and Speaking 1教学内容 本课时包括New words teaching + New sentences teaching +Listening and Speaking三部分，具体内容为：学会生词及句型并用适当的方式描述天气。 2教学重点、难点 教学重点：了解并辨别对不同天气的描述； 教学难点：掌握用适当的方式来描述天气。 3教学目标 知识目标：学生能够掌握如何用英语描述天气； 能力目标：听能够听懂天气预报，对各种不同天气的描述； 说能够用适当的方式描述天气；
3、文化意识：掌握中国人与英美国家的人们表达天气的不同习惯。 4教学步骤 Step I New words teaching 通过多媒体课件展示以下初中部分学过的单词，帮助学生温故知新： snow雪，rainy雨，fog雾，wind风，sun太阳，cloud云。 通过多媒体课件动画由以上单词变化出形似的新单词： snowy下雪的，rainy下雨的，foggy多雾的，windy刮风的，sunny晴朗的，cloudy阴天1 的 Activity 1 1. Go through the words related to weather, A-I, and then ask the Ss to read
4、aloud. 2. Think and choose. (Ss individual work) 3. The teacher does orally check and feedback. 4. Go through the words again, and get the Ss to memorize them and do oral Chinese-English match work. Activity 2 1. Look at the 6 pictures, then choose the proper word for each picture from activity 1. 2
5、. The teacher does the check work., individually or from the whole class. 3. Ask the Ss to think of more weather marks and then learn related words to those marks. Step II New sentences teaching Activity 3 1、教师示范多媒体展示的本课新句型，用该句型和本课单词做对话示范： 第一组：A: Hows the weather? = A: Whats the weather like ? B: It
6、s 第二组：A: How is the weather in? (Whats the weather like in?) B: Its sunny/rainy/ windy/cloudy 2、请学生用新句型做对话练习。 Activity 4 通过以上表示天气的单词学习后，继续学习表示温度的单词。 warm温暖的， hot热的，cool凉的，cold冷的，rather很 Step III Listening and speaking Listening Activity 5 教师播放录音，请学生听录音后完成课文上相应练习，教师讲解并核对答案。 (设计意图：让学生熟悉描述天气的表达方式，也为完成单
7、元任务作语言上的铺垫。) Speaking 将学生分为2人一组，用本课所学的句型进行对话练习。 第一组：A: Hows the weather? = A: Whats the weather like ? B: Its 2 第二组：A: How is the weather in? (Whats the weather like in?) B: Its sunny/rainy/ windy/cloudy (设计意图：让学生通过模仿进一步熟练掌握表述天气的语句。) Step IV summary and homwork summary 通过板书，将本课的重点词汇及句型再次呈现给学生，以总结本课。 板书设计 New words： snowy 下雪的 warm温暖的 rainy 下雨的 hot 热的 foggy 多雾的 cool 凉的 windy 刮风的 cold 冷的 sunny 晴朗的 rather 很 cloudy 阴天的，多云的 New sentences： A: Hows the weather? = A: Whats the weather like ?
