Slip, trip & fall injuries account for one of the largest segments of employee and guest accide

One common cause of trip and fall injuries involves employees attempting to carry a load that restricts their vision. When carrying loads, always make sure you can see where you are walki

3、ng. A good rule to follow is to not carry loads, which extend above your chest or shoulders. Loads carried above this level may block your vision to hazards both near and far. Plan your trip so that you will know where you are going and what type of obstacles you might need to pass (changes in eleva

4、tions, potentially wet or slippery areas, etc.). If you cant tell where the stairs end and the landings begin, then neither will your fellow employee or our guests. 8、 to be sure that no objects have been left on the stairs. If you notice that someone has left an item on the stairs, remove that item from the stairs. Certain areas of the hotel are more likely to be wet or slippery, such as entrances, areas around ice machines, the kitchen, or any area with a potential water source. To help protect these areas, floor mats should be used. Wh

10、en using floor mats, it is essential to keep them flat. These problem areas may require a longer period of time to correct, so it is important to post warnings where possible and
