26、ous color is inside collect, calm personality, peculiar to embody high books in soft and elegant style.书籍设计品质与格调摘要:书籍装帧设计是一门独立的造型艺术,影响书籍装帧设计的因素主要有书籍文字与图形的视觉度、编排方法、印刷材质、色彩是否和谐、传统艺术元素是否恰当运用等方面,而作为创造主体的书籍装帧设计师,在了解这些因素的基础上,要充分提高自己的审美和审美功效。一般说来,视觉度强,更能吸引读者的眼球和注意力,但是,由于高视觉度的书籍,其文字字体和图形面积相对较大,感染力较强,可是会在视觉上

27、显得刺激和跳跃,降低了书籍的文化品质和格调。如果视觉度相对较低,那么字体和图片会显经验与艺术修养,设计出高品质与高格调的书籍装帧设计作品。书籍装帧设计是一门独立的造型艺术,要求设计师将审美思想、艺术观念融入书籍材料和书籍生产工艺之中,是将书籍本身的知识源和外在形式语言统一的整体艺术。因此,书籍装帧设计要求设计师既要熟知书籍生产过程中的造纸、装订、印刷等流程,又要遵循造型艺术的审美规律和形式法则,体现书籍这种文化载体所独有的审美情趣和文化品质。书籍装帧艺术的文化品味和格调非常重要,一本书的文化品味的高低,影响着读者和受众的审美导向和接受程度。书籍装帧设计作为一种创造性意象活动,是设计师将自己的艺

28、术感知通过纸材、文字、图片、语言符号等媒介载体,把意象以物态化形式确立下来,从而构成现实存在的艺术作品(书本)。书籍作为这一艺术活动的产物和对象,不仅与艺术创造有直接关系,同时与读者和批评者也有直接关系。高品位、高格调的书籍装帧设计,可以满足读者的审美需要,引起受众的审美愉悦,同时也潜移默化地影响着读者的审美价值取向和人格境界。因此,书籍所体现的文化品质和格调,直接体现书籍的审美价值和艺术品位,也体现在其审美功效和非审美功效之中。所以,书籍设计师应当努力提高书籍装帧设计的文化品质和格调,提高书籍的艺术功效与审美价值。20世纪60年代,“后现代”设计风格风靡一时。“后现代”设计注重个性自由和情感

29、宣泄,其艺术风格讲求制造矛盾、调侃游戏。我国设计界也受此影响,书籍装帧追求视觉冲击力,一味追求商业价值,很多设计师尝试反传统、反规律、反美学的观念,关注书籍外在的张力和版面产生强烈的对比,以图给读者的视觉造成强烈的诉求力。换言之,为了更容易引起读者的阅读兴趣和购买欲望,很多书商将书籍设计得夸张而个性,追求明丽的色调和异形的开本。而一本高品质、高格调的书籍,则体现和洋溢着一种“书卷气”。“书卷气”即指书本所包含着的中和、安静之美和深邃的文化内涵。不同于无规律、无秩序、反艺术、反美学的后现代艺术特征,“书卷气”注重在书籍这种特定的媒质之中营造气氛的静美,将中国传统文化的思维特质和构成形式融入设计观

30、念里面。影响书籍装帧的整体品质与格调的因素,大致说来有如下方面:文字与图形的视觉度:视觉度是指文字和图版在版面中产生的视觉强弱度。1书籍版面的视觉强弱度会影响书籍的阅读性得过于拘谨,降低了视觉趣味。因此,恰当的视觉度能体现书籍的文化品质和格调。印刷材料的质量:书籍是一种“信息的雕刻”,精美的印刷材料能充分体现书籍的品质和格调,高档纸材和先进的印刷技术,更能体现书籍本体的“书卷气”,能发挥书籍的沉静精致之美。排版方法:恰当的书籍版面设计,可以将书籍本体的视觉语言和艺术风格得以完美细致的发挥,丰富了书籍设计的美学内涵。书籍装帧设计的风格千变万化,合适的编排风格更能体现书籍的实用价值和审美功效,特别

31、是注重虚实与留白的编排方法,能让书本显得温和平静。注重留白,即是重视注重设计元素以外的空白空间,注重编排后剩余空间形成的“负形”的空白之美和视觉张力作用。传统艺术元素的运用:书籍装帧设计是一种艺术创造活动,将中国的书法、篆刻、国画等水墨艺术元素运用到书籍装帧设计过程中,将中国传统艺术的精神内涵与书籍设计完美地融合起来,使得书籍成为一种富有中国文化意蕴的设计作品,表现出一种高品质和高格调。传统艺术元素的运用,特别是书法(篆刻)字体的运用,能使书籍形式具有一种独特的艺术个性和文化身份,极大提高了书籍的文化品质。书法(篆刻)是中华传统文化的核心,凝聚了中华传统文化特有的审美形态和艺术特征,具有强大的

32、视觉感染力和意蕴无穷的视觉诉求力。书法字体不同于一般的标准印刷字体,它融入了人的思想修养、道德追求,是一种以字载道的静止生命形式。将书法字体运用到书籍装帧设计之中,能给予读者一种独特的视觉关照,读者阅读的过程,也是一种人与人的生命对话形式,而融入书法元素的书籍装帧设计作品,洋溢着深厚的文化内涵和意蕴之美。色彩的和谐运用:色彩是视觉传达领域一个非常重要的设计元素,是书籍装帧设计过程中的一种重要视觉语言,它能营造不同的情感氛围,因此色彩的运用得当与否十分重要。因此,在书籍装帧设计之中,特别是书籍封面设计中,要把握好色彩的明度、纯度、色相的对比与和谐,如果色彩过多,或是色彩对比过于强烈,这样的书籍封面虽然能能获得强烈的视觉效果,起到先声夺人的作用,但是显得浮躁张扬;而和谐的色彩则能体现东方美学中特有的内敛、冷静等性格,体现书籍中柔和、淡雅的高格调。译自:
