It is easy to see the great charm of this novel. Generally speaking, Jane Austen was a writher of the 18th-century, although she lived mainly in t

36、he 19th century. As a realistic writer, she believed that it is her duty to express a discriminated and serious criticism of life in her works, and expose the follies and illusions of mankind.
