1、高一英语Unit6 Good manners(Reading)说课稿,(一)说教材,教材的地位和作用1)本单元的中心话题是“Good manners”(礼仪)。本课是第三课时,是一篇介绍西方餐桌礼仪的说明文。它分别从对餐具的摆放,餐前礼仪,餐中礼仪,餐桌上的谈话礼仪,饮酒礼仪,餐桌礼仪变迁等几方面来介绍,比较全面地介绍了西方的餐饮文化。2)这篇文章不但是训练学生的阅读能力,也是加强学生中外文化修养、扩大知识面,培养学生跨文化交际意识。,2.教学目标和要求1)认知目标:a.让学生记住中西方餐桌上餐具的名称,西餐名称及上菜顺序。b.掌握并能熟练运用本课中所规定的“四会”“三会”单词、词组,如:na
2、pkin,starter,dessert,custom,make a good impression,drink to someones health,2)能力目标:a.通过听录音,掌握正确的语音语调,使学生形成良好的语言习惯。b.通过对段落结构的分析,使学生掌握 skimming和scanning的阅读技巧。c.通过任务型学习,使学生的思维能力,逻辑能力,智力都能得到提高。,3)情感目标:a.通过对西方餐桌礼仪的讨论,培养学生跨文化交际意识。b.通过小组活动,指导学生积极与人合作,积极与人交流,培养他们的团队合作精神。c.在师生互动的活动中,加强教师的亲和力,增进彼此的了解与沟通,充分发挥情
3、感教学的优势。,3.教学重点和难点1)教学重点:a.掌握并能熟练运用一些重点单词和短语;b.了解中西方餐桌礼仪差异。2)教学难点:a.文章段落结构的分析;b.开放性话题的实现。,(二)说学生,1高中生注意力有一定的稳定性,观察有一定的目的性。初步完成从具体到抽象思维的过度。喜欢有个性化的教学设计,已不在满足老师对教案的简单重复与重现;同时自我意识增强,在乎别人的评价更渴望的到关心和赞赏,2.我们的学生虽然大部分来自城市,但也很少有吃过西餐的经验,西餐餐桌的摆放,上菜的顺序,餐桌礼仪了解甚少。本课的内容能引起学生的兴趣,激发学生的探究心理。而学生对于中国的餐礼有所了解,所以在学习过程中进行中西方
4、餐礼的比较,以加深对东西方文化差异的了解。,3.刚进入高中,英语阅读能力较差,教学中应注重培养其阅读技能,使其养成良好的阅读习惯。我在指导学生阅读时强调skimming和scanning两种技能,目的就是要提高他们的阅读速度和快速寻找信息的能力,培养他们分析、概括能力。,(三)说教法,1.教法的选择是课堂教学成败的关键,阅读课重在培养学生的阅读能力,但同时也不可忽视听、说、写等能力的发展。因此,本课选择任务型教学,课堂设计采用“P-T-P”的自主学习立体模式(Pre-task;Task-cycle;Post-task)并组织各种课堂活动,如“头脑风暴”、“小组比赛”、“画画”等,培养和强化学生
5、的语言实践能力和自主学习能力。,2.在任务的实施过程中,注重循序渐进和梯度分明的任务安排,由易到难,由简到繁,给有困难的学生搭建个平台,让有能力的学生“跳一跳”摘到“果子”。,(四)说教学程序,Step1.Pre-task Goal:这部分的重点是激活学生已有的相关背景知识,启发学生思维和想象,引出本课的话题-Table manners at a party,了解学生对其的认知程度,激发学生兴趣,使学生很快融入课堂教学内容。,Why was the host embarrassed?,In 1930 a Chinese official visited America.An American
6、friend invited him to have a western dinner.After he sat down at the table,he used the napkin to clean the knives and forks.The host was embarrassed(尴尬).So the host asked the waiter to take away all the tableware(餐具)on the table and bring other pairs.,Goal:通过讲故事的形式来导入新课,能引起学生兴趣,也使学生马上意识到掌握西方餐礼的必要性,从
