6、rd compatible with IO-S only.It can only be used in brushless controls with a Haas vector drive.This board also requires the psup-g or later.Since the IO-T is based on IO-S,the changes listed below are from IO-S to IO-T.INTERCHANGE ABILITYIO-T is completely interchangeable with IO-S.When replacing a
7、n IO-S with an IO-T,follow the installation procedures below.IO-T is stuffed as three parts.32-3083T is for the Haas SMTC.32-3088T is a partially stuffed board for minimill,minilathe,tool room mill.32-3080T is for all other controls.INSTALLATION PROCEDURESPower Off:1.Review all safety text printed i
8、n the pcb silkscreen.2.Jumper any unused E-Stop input connectors(P6 or P7).Jumper second door switch input(P9)if unused.Jumper second remote unclamp input(P20)if unused.See attached drawing for jumper placement.3.Verify that connector P48 is jumpered.4.Verify that no jumper is installed at J9.This h
9、eader is used for testing only.5.Set tc current limit jumper correctly.Set jumper to 10A position for HS and Haas SMTC.Set jumper to 5A position for all others.6.Set ground fault jumper(J1)to 0.75A position.7.Adjust chipc over current(R119&R122)to 3-5K for single phase motors.(Adjust to 1K for three
10、 phase motors.)(Adjust to 500 for 1-phase,belt style,lathe chip conveyor.)8.For all SL and most VF,install tc jumper cable(33-0809,supplied)at P57.Remove only if there is a cable that will plug in here instead.9.Verify that a 10A ultra-fast fuse is installed at FU1 as shown on silkscreen.A spare fus
11、e is included at FU2 that can be used in the event of a short circuit.Power On:10.Verify that parameter 209,“MCD RLY BRD”,is set to a“1”.The“Relay Bank Select”parameter 352 should be set to either a 1,2 or 3 depending on whether additional M-code relay boards are present.11.Verify that parameter 57,
12、“PH LOSS DET”,is set to a“0”.12.Measure ground fault voltage(at TP2 to TP3).The value should be 0.065-0.085V.Operate tool changer several times.If a ground fault alarm occurs,change jumper at J1 to 1.25A position.Repeat test.If fault still occurs,contact Haas service.13.Measure tc current limit volt
13、age(at TP1 to TP3).The value should be 0.230-0.270V for a 5A application.The value should be 0.480-0.520V for a 10A application.14.Operate chip conveyor.If the motor will not run forward continuously,it is acceptable to increase the overcurrent(R119&R122)by 1K.If it still faults,replace the IOPCB an
14、d/or chipc motor.Jam the motor(using a piece of wood or by jamming the fan on the back of the motor if accessible)and verify that the motor stops and pauses before reversing(note that the belt style may not reverse,but will still pause).If it will not pause,lower the adjustment by 500-1000 ohms.15.O
