2、Abraham Lincoln declared the last Thursday in November as a national holiday of Thanksgiving.Finally in 1941,Congress declared that the holiday would be celebrated every year on the fourth Thursday in November.,In Sep.1620,some pilgrims couldnt tolerate the rules of the church in England.So they sai
3、led to Holland.Its better,but they were not satisfied.To seek religious freedom,they begun the journey to America by the ship Mayflower.After 65 days,they set ground at Plymouth Rock on Dec.11,1620.Its winter then.But there was not enough food and its very cold,and they didnt adapted to the environm
