1、用以修饰名词，表示事物的特征的词。e.g.long,empty,cheap,hungry,etc.,一、什么叫形容词?,在句中作定语、表语、宾语补足语等成分,Review,用以修饰名词，表示事物的特征,通常放在名词前。e.g.He is a good student.I have something important to tell you.,当形容词修饰由some-,any-,no-,every-构成的不定代词时,形容词要放在这些不定代词的之后.e.g.,Is there anything interesting in todays newspaper?,作定语,放在系动词(be动词）后作
2、表语e.g.The trees are green in spring.We are alone on the island.,形容词和宾语一起构成复合宾语e.g.We must keep the classroom clean.He makes us happy.Color the wall white.,作表语,作宾语补足语,怎样进行同级比较？,1.“as+形容词原级+as”表示“前者和后者一样”.如:He is as tall as I.他和我一样高。The watch is as cheap as that one.这块手表和那块一样便宜。,2.“not as/so+形容词原级+as”
3、表示“前者没有/不及后者”.如:This ruler is not as long as that one.这把尺子不如那把长。We are not so busy as you are.我们不像你们那么忙。,比较等级的基本句型,1.“A+adj.比较级+than+B”意为“A比B”.如:The earth is bigger than the moon.地球比月球大。He is smarter than we.他比我们更聪明。,NEW,规则变化,better,worse,less,more,fartherfurther,olderelder,巧记：特殊形式比较级,共有三对二合一,坏病两多并好
