2、5、听力SlW(PartI:ListeningComprehension)本部分采用填空题和多项选择题形式,分两节:SeCtionA讲座和SeCIiOnB会话,共25题。录音语速为每分钟约150个单词。本部分测试要求为:%a)能听懂真实交际场合中的各种英语会话和讲话;为掰旨听懂有关政治、经济、历史、文化、教育、语言、文学、科普方面的演讲及演讲后的问答;%)能理解所听材料的大意,领会说话者的态度、感情和真实意图;期)能做较为完整的笔记;呢)考试时间约25分钟。此次专八考试听力题型有较大调整,具体包括:1. SectionAMini-Iecture由原来的10道填空题增加到15道题,听后发卷改为听

3、前发卷。新的测试形式规定,本部分由一个约900个单词的讲座和一项填空任务组成,要求学生边听边做笔记,然后完成15道填空题。本部分内容的选材与本专业方向课程相关。试题数量由原来的10题增加到15题,需要考生捕捉的细节信息有所增加,但听后发卷改为听前发卷从某种程度上讲又降低了此题型的答题难度。2. SectionBConversationorInterVieW由原来的5道选择题增加到10道题,卷面问题消失。新的测试形式规定,本部分由一个约1000个单词的会话或两个约500个单词的会话组成。会话后有10道多项选择题。本部分每道题后有10秒的间隙,要求学生听到问题后从所给的四个选项中选出一个最佳答案。

4、本部分内容的选材与学生的日常生活、社会和学习活动相关。与原来的题型相比,除了听力会话的长度略有增加外,题目数量翻倍,卷面问题消失,而是出现在听力录音中,都说明了此题型的难度较之前有了大。A新闻听力取消。原来试卷中包含3篇新闻听力,一共5道题,但试题难度并不大。随着该题型的取消,间接增加了试题的难度。虽然新闻听力不考查了,但考生还是应该继续坚持听,这是练习听力的一种很好的渠道和方法。从上面的分析可以看出,专八听力考试的难度比之前有所提高,不论是讲座部分还是会话部分都要求考生在与之前长度相当的听力文章中获取更多的细节信息,对于考生在听音中捕捉信息的能力提出了更高的要求。同时,专八讲座改为听前发卷,

5、对于大多数考生来说又是一个福音。二、阅读?W(PartII:ReadingComprehension)本部分采用多项选择题和简答题形式,由数篇阅读材料组成。阅读材料共长3000个单词左右。学生应根据所读材料内容,从每题的四个选项中选出一个最佳答案,或根据问题做简短回答。共22题,其中14道多项选择题,8道简答题。本部分测试要求为:%a)能读懂一般英美报刊杂志上的社论和书评;(b)能读懂有一定难度的历史传记和文学作品;%3能理解所读材料的主旨大意,分辨出其中的事实和细节#能理解字面意义和隐含意义,能根据所读材料进行判断和推理;能分析所读材料的思想观点、语篇结构、语言特点和修辞手法;(d)能在阅读

6、中根据需要自觉调整阅读速度和阅读技巧;(e)考试时间45分钟。此次阅读理解题型的变化较大,具体包括:!传统的多项选择题由=O道题减少到14道题。阅读选材的长度和难度与原来相比,并没有太大的变化,唯的变化是多项选择题的数量减少了。=.新增了8道问答题,更加强调语言表达和组织能力。问答题的题目是根据前面四篇传统阅读(多项选择题)的文章进行设置的,每篇文章中设置1;3道题,一共是8道题。对于答案的字数也有要求一不能多于10个词,这就要求考生具有较好的概括能力,准确选取符合题目要求的内容并归纳出答案。重要提示:由于问答即是基于前面4篇文章进行设置的,所以考生做题时,应以一篇文章为单位,同时解答SeCt

7、ionA和SeCtionB的题目,这样可以节省时间,提高做题效率。三、语言知识(PartIII$LanguageUsage)语言知识题就是原来的短文改错题。本部分由一篇约250个单词的短文组成,短文中有10行标有题号。该10行内均含有一个语误,需运用语法、词汇、修辞等语言知识识别所给短文内的语病并提出改正方法。要求学生根据“增添”、“删除”或“改变其中的某一个单词或短语”三种方法中的一种改正语误。本部分为作答题,共10题,考试时间15分钟。此部分题型并无变化,只是变换了题型名称,所以考生可以按原来的方式进行复习。四、翻译(PartIV$Translation)本部分为作答题,要求将一段150个

8、汉字组成的段落译成英语。考生需具备运用汉译英的理论和技巧,翻译我国报刊杂志上的文章和一般文学作品的能力。速度为每小时250至300个汉字。译文要求忠实原意,语言通顺、流畅。考试时间25分钟。翻译部分的变化主要是:1 .原来的英译中部分取消,保留中译英部分。原来翻译题型由中译英和英译中两部分组成,现在只有中译英。2 .文章长度稍微缩短。中译英原来要求文章长度为150200字,现在是150个汉字,略微降低了难度。五、写作(PartV$Writing)本部分为作答题,采用材料作文形式。要求考生能根据所给阅读材料和要求撰写各类体裁的文章,文章长度约300个单词;能做到内容切题、充实,条理清楚,结构严谨

9、,语法正确,语言通顺,表达得体。考试时间45分钟。写作部分的变化有:1 .命题形式略有变化,阅读材料增加。改革前后的写作都是材料作文,只是现在要求考生阅读的材料更多(500词左右),从本质上来说,并没有太大的变。2 .写作模式上有所变化。原来的写作模式是陈述观点一论证观点一得出结论,而现在是简短概括材料中各方提出的观点一进行评论。新题型写作对考生的阅读理解能力也提出了要求。A.范文长度要求变短。原来作文要求写400词左右,现在只要求写300词左右。由于题目中给出了很多材料,考生写作时最好不要太多引用材料中的内容,而应进行概括和总结,否则不易得高分。第2章专八新题型样题TEM-8SAMPLETE
