2、子叫名词从句 (Noun Clauses）名词从句的功能相当于名词词组, 它在复合句中能担任主语、宾语、表语、同位语等因此根据它在句中不同的语法功能，名词从句又可分别称为主语从句、宾语从句、表语从句和同位语从句。,名词性从句 noun clauses,主语从句subject clause,宾语从句object clause,表语从句predicative clause,同位语从句appositive clause,名词性从句在功能上相当于名词,His job is important.,What he does is important.,主语,This is his job.,This is

6、重要;动词之前叫主从;动词之后是宾从。系动词也贼重要;它的后面跟表从;千万不能忘介词; 它的殿后亦宾从,关于that引导的主语从句,That he is still alive is unbelievable.That we shall be late is certain.特点：无意义，不作任何句中成分，只起连接作用，不可以省略！,注意,有时候为了平衡句子结构，避免头重脚轻，或者是为了强调，常用it来做形式主语，把that引导的主语从句放到后面。It is certain that she will do well in her exam.Its a pity that we cant go

11、。,关于that引导的同位语从句,if (是否)和whether 的选用,if只能使用于:a. 及物动词后的宾语从句b. ifor notI wonder if/whether thats a good idea. I want to know if/whether he will come or not.,if / whether1.
