39、rnating light sensor arrangements including drive electronics, standardized stroke signals and monitoring of the stroke limits, The two light sensors are movable (adjustable) according to the strip width. Underneath the strip, a light source will be arranged. The parallel visual channel of one measu

40、ring receiver is half covered by the strip edge whilst the visual channel of the reference receiver is directed to the light transmitter outside the strip edge. This arrangement compensates for variations of the light intensity (contamination). Disturbing ambient light is suppressed by exclusively e

41、valuating the HF-alternating part of the light. The guiding action (CPC Center Position Control) is via the centering cylinder included in the decoiler. The stroke of the cylinder is controlled by a special longitudinal stroke transducer located local to the cylinder. Protection device for light sou
