2、o spark the interest of learning and form correct ideas of life and value.Key words: English songs improve ability listening speaking reading and writing歌曲在语言学习中起着非常重要的作用。通过歌曲的学习能够强化语音知识、提高听说能力、同时还能激发兴趣,给课堂注入活力和生机。优秀的歌曲还能给人以美的熏陶,陶冶情操,树立正确的人生观和价值观。如何在听说读写方面充分利用英文歌曲呢?在多年的英文教学中,笔者总结了几种英文歌曲教学的方法和及一些好的英文

3、歌曲,深受学生喜欢。下面就以课堂教过的歌曲carry on till tomorrow作为范例谈谈。一、 利用英文歌曲进行听力练习。在听力可以先引入:when you were a little kid, how did you feel when you saw the sun? when you see the sun now, how do you feel? And imagine when you were old, how would you feel when you saw the sun? Do you have dreams? What are you going to d

4、o to make them come true? 引入歌曲之后有两个步骤: 先把整首歌作为听写材料让学生听写,每句稍微停顿,共播放三次。然后给出歌词,其中有些单词是空缺的,让学生边听边填写空缺的歌词。空缺的歌词可以是重要的单词或新单词。如以下画线的单词即为空缺的单词。In younger days, I told myself my life would be my own And Id leave the place where sunshine never shone For my lifes too short for waiting when I see the rising sun

7、on Carry on till tomorrow, theres no reason to look back Carry on, carry on, carry on 二、 学唱英文歌曲,提高口语能力进行了听力练习之后,便可以进行口语方面的练习。这里也有两个步骤:1 学唱英文歌曲。可让学生跟着录音带一起唱或分段学唱。这对于纠正语音又很大的帮助。教师还可在这过程指出唱英文歌的技巧,如单词复数fields 等的处理。2 讨论歌曲的内容。学生学会唱之后,对歌词会有了大概的了解,这时便可以让他们对歌曲的内容进行疏通。可把学生分成四人一组,让学生用自己的话把歌词说一遍。如歌词的第一段:学生:When

So l left the place where there was no sunshine, very dark that I could not see any hope. I wanted to seek a new life. For I knew life was very short. I could not wait any more. I neede

And then I know I need to carry on and never give up.在讨论过程中,学生也许会有不同的观点,也许会争论,这对于提高学生的表达能力有很大的帮助。三、 阅读理解。这个环节是对歌曲的内容进行深入的学习。教师可根据歌曲提出问题让学生思考并回答。如:1 What is this song mainly about?2 The song has three parts, what does each part tell?3 How did

10、 he/she feel when seeing the sun rise?4 How did he/she feel when seeing the sun set?5 What three stages of life the three parts represent?或设计成阅读理解练习的题型,如:1. What is this song mainly about?A. 13、,也会有很多的想法和感受,那么,不妨趁热打铁,用文字把它写下来,同时对写作也是很好的训练。教师总结:Life is yours. You are living your own life. Nobody can take control of your life except yourself. What are you going to do with your life? Work hard!
