1、英语口语30个接地气的英式日常表达英语口语：30个接地气的英式日常表达 很多同学都说在国内学了那么多英语，到国外却感觉接不上轨。其实，多掌握一些英国人的日常表达，对于我们出国留学或生活都是有很大帮助的。 1、“turn” 英国人吐槽：难道没人庆祝生日(celebrate a birthday)了吗?我们一定都要“turn”12岁或者21岁或者40岁吗?连爱丁堡公爵过生日也统统说成上个月他“turning”90岁。这是什么时候开始的?我喜欢这个表达本身，但它似乎取代掉其他所有谈论生日的说法了。 英式表达：Hes turning 23已经变成了最常用的说法，但也可以说：its his 23rd b
2、irthday/hell be 23. 2、“least worst option” 英国人吐槽：下次要是有人跟你讲XXX是the “least worst option”(最好选择)，你就告诉他们对于他们来说最最最好的选择是滚回去学语法。 英式表达：The lesser of two evils/the better of the two eg：I think going with him is the better of two evils/is the better of the two options. 3、 “Transportation” 英国人吐槽：Transportation(

8、be able to get off the plane shortly. 12、“leverage” 英国人吐槽：我讨厌听到的词是“leverage”。把它读成lev-er-ig(美)，而不是lee-ver-ig(英)。好像各行各业突然都这么读了，意思貌似也变成“附加值”了。 英式表达：这是对读音的不满，不是用法上的，但leverage在美式英语中有“举债经营”的意思，英式英语用gearing表达此意。 13、“It is what it is” 英国人吐槽：“It is what it is.(这就是事实。)” 同情同情我们吧! 英式表达：不如说：Thats just whats happ
