I have been ready to begin this representation with the following parts: the analysis of teaching material, students, teaching ai
2、ms, the key points and difficult points of the lesson, teaching method and study method, teaching procedures, blackboard design and so on. . Firstly, lets focus on the analysis of teaching material. The content of my lesson is a new one of Unit 2. It is from PEP English book, the second semester of
3、grade 3, the listening and speaking part. This unit is mainly talking about family members. By studying of this part, we will enable students to know some words about basic family members and to get the ability of talking about family members. Therefore, this lesson is in the important position of t
4、he teaching material. If the students can learn it well, it will be helpful to make the students learn the rest of this book and it will lay a foundation for the students English learning. At the same time, students listening, speaking skills will be developed. . Secondly, Id like to talk something
5、about the students. Our students are in Grade 3. They are active, curious and interested in new things. They are very familiar with family members in life. The topic of this unit is not strange to them. However, they learn English soon and some cannot say bravely. They dont have the ability to apply
6、 the new knowledge into practice. So the teacher should pay attention to them and encourage them. The teacher should use a variety of ways to arouse students interest in learning English such as pictures and PPT and encourage them to say loudly. The students usually love their family members. The te
7、acher should seize the favorable factors to teach them. . Thirdly, Id like to talk something about the teaching aims. According to the new curriculum and the syllabus, the teaching materials and the students present situation, I set the following aims. Knowledge aims: Students can read and recognize
8、 some words about basic family members. Ability aims: Through cooperation and role play, students can get the ability of talking about family members. Emotional aims: Students can get more interests in learning English and in enjoying the warmth of the family. . Fourthly, let me talk about the teach
9、ing key and difficult Points. Based on the analysis of the teaching materials, the students and the teaching objectives, I set the teaching key points and difficult points as follows. Fifthly, let me talk about teaching methods and study methods. Teaching methods: As we all know, the main instructional aims of learning English is to cultivate
11、 students basic abilities of listening and speaking and their good sense of the English language. So in this lesson Ill mainly use “Visual teaching method”, “Communicative language teaching method” and so on. Study methods: 1. Teach the students how to be successful language learners. 2. Get the stu
12、dents to form good learning habits. . Sixthly, let me talk something about the teaching aids. In this lesson, the multi-media, a tape recorder and some glove puppets will be used to make the class lively and improve my teaching effect. . Next, lets focus on the teaching procedures. I will finish the
13、 lesson in 4 steps. Step 1 Warming up and lead-in 1. Play a chant “Father and mother” and ask students to sing the chant after the tape. 2. Play a short cartoon about “Big Ear Tutu”. Lead in the top by presenting the pictures of Big Ear Tutu and his parents. Purpose: Form a better English learning a
14、tmosphere for the students, and at the same time, stimulate the students interests in learning the new knowledge. Step 2: Presentation and practice 1. New Words: (1) Show a picture of my family and then and guide students to answer what the members are in my family. Present the words “father (dad)”
15、and “mother (mum)” and write them on the blackboard. Stress the pronunciation of “th” and ask students to read after the tape three times. (2) Show two groups of pictures of “Yao Ming, Cheng Long, Lu Yi.” and “Fan Bingbing, Lin Xinru, Zhang Ziyi.”. Get students to compare them and summarize the diff
16、erence in gender. Lead in the words “man” and “woman”. Impart the usage of the two words and ask students to read them one by one. (3) High and low voice: Read the words and get students to read after the teacher. But when the teacher says them in high voice, the students should say them in low voic
17、e. When the teacher says them in low voice, the students should say them in high voice. The wrong group will lose a point. 2. 19、ork in pairs and make new dialogues using the target sentences. Purpose: With the help of the PPT, I go on to present the new words by pictures. After presenting each new word, I will get students to read it after the tape. And then I will play a “high and low voice” game to get students to practice
20、 the new words. The purpose of this is to arouse students interests in learning English. And at the same time, students ability of imitating the pronunciation will be improved. And then I present the sentence patterns by guiding and setting questions. The purpose of this is to train the students sel
21、f-exploration abilities. The practice of making sentences can get students to apply the new knowledge into practice. Step 3: Consolidation: 1. A guessing game: Divide the students into three groups. Each group chooses two of group members to represent the group. One of the representatives looks at t

Compulsory homework: Ask students to listen to the tape and imitate the new words and sentences. Optional h
25、omework: Ask students to make a family tree according to their family members and introduce it next class.
