However, I was still confused about the wars development. This movie helped me to get out of the mass. Even though some plots had been recomposed, it was re
2、ally an excellent work telling the story elaborately and aesthetically. Troy is a movie about warfare,but it took love as the clue of the whole story. The war between Troy and Greek alliance had lasted 10 years. The incident that touched off the war was that Troys prince Paris took away Helen, Menel
3、auss wife. In this war, some fought for invasion, some fought for vengeance,some fought for guarding their country while some fought for making history. From essentially says, selfish desire was the wars interior root cause. As for the characters, I like Hector best. In the film, Hector is the repre
4、sentative of loyalty. Comparing to Achilles and Paris, he was more rational. Achilles run after the honor and the immortality of name,that was why he decided to go out to battle. Hector, he sacrificed himself to protect his younger brother, his families, his soldiers, and his country. From the whole
5、 story, we can see that gods played a much more important role in ancient Greece. At that time, they took warfare strategy according to the gods command. Hector was one of the few persons who could rationally and correctly make out the strategy by discerning the wars situation. Whatever the original
6、 intention of the war was, it actually brought harm to the people. Millions of soldiers went through fire and water for protecting their families and countries. In the Trojan war, the Troy was exterminated because of a woman. Wether the story was true or not, it was a warning to every modern countries. Wars cant be the only and the first way to solve the international problems. It is not wise to sacrifice the people to gain more power and wealth.
