Then today I want to talk something about dreams and reality.As the famous Russian litterateur Lev Tolstoy said, “Ideal is the beacon. 2、 no life.” So theres no doubt that everyone needs his or her own ideal. Have you ever thought that what is practical and sensible will connect with our most treasured dreams? Maybe, to somebody, reality has little relation to ideal. To others nothing can be done without the sense of reality. So make

3、 our dreams a part of our reality. And make our reality a part of our dreams. There is no reason why our dreams must oppose our reality. Improve our dreams and our reality by bringing them together.As a university student, establishing a dream is one of the most important things we have to do .But e

4、veryone must see the reality clearly at first. Your family condition, your personal ability, your social intercourse, your subject and the job you want to do, these things show you the reality and lead you to establish a dream.Further more, difficult or otherwise, we should put the power of reality

5、into our dreams. Last but not least remember to work hard at the task of chasing our dreams. 7、 stand today, signed the emancipation proclamation. this momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. it came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity.but one hundred years later, the

8、negro still is not free. one hundred years later, the life of the negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. one hundred years later, the negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. one hundred yea

9、rs later, the negro is still languished in the corners of american society and finds himself an exile in his own land. and so weve come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.in a sense weve come to our nations capital to cash a check. when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent

10、words of the constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happi

11、ness. it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked insufficient funds.Thank you!梦想与青春演讲稿英文3As the

The future is unknowable, but dream give us the direction .In some moment maybe the reality is harsh and you are suffering much. If you have a dream, even a very small one, it will light your life in the darkness a

13、nd keep you hiding from the reality, for dream will give you the energy to fight.However, sometimes it seems that what is practical and sensible does not connect with your most treasured dreams. I am a freshman ,indeed my college life is not as colorful as imagined before,all plans and goals just be

14、 hung up。Im very afraid that even if I graduated from college, I still couldnt find a job and then had a better life. Faced with the cruel reality,we college students should really make good use of these facilities and learn as much useful knowledge as possible。Then after graduation, we would find i

15、ts much easier to get a decent job.When I am a little girl,my father gave me two cups filled with soil,he asked me to water one cup every day。Two weeks later,tender leaves appeared in the cup that I watered everyday。Father said to me:“The seed represents for your dream,without sweat and effort,it wo

Has anyone of you answered like this: “I want to be a painter”, or “I want to be a scientist”, or “I plan to be a police”?A few years later, we start our new journey of study in high schools and become mature and practical in our mind. Then, have you e

19、ver changed your dreams? If so, whats it?But now, I think, most of us become down-to-earth and the dream is more practical than before. However, have you taken actions to pursue your dream? Are you working hard enough to make your dream come true?As for myself, I have dreamed to be an excellent poli

20、ce in high school due to there are so many thefts in my hometown while they are seldom caught. Sooner I have realized how ridiculous am I and now I turn to realistic: I just want to be a translator.How do I pursue my dream?First of all, I try my best to correct the pronunciation and read the textboo

21、k or other English magazines such as: English weekly, English salon and the like. I try to do this day by day. Now I have improved my reading ability a lot and it also enlarged my vocabulary.Secondly, I often do some translating extension and embrace my teachers suggestion. It benefits me much.Last

22、but not the least, I realize my dream by reading Chinese literature. Maybe you will say its what the Chinese major students should do. If you say so, you are badly wrong. For as an English major student, how can you know others well if you even dont familiar with your country? On the other hand, it

They nourish our spirit; they represent possibility even when we are dragged down by reality. They keep us going. Most successful people are dreamers as well as ordinary peo

26、ple who are not afraid to think big and dare to be great. When we were little kids, we all dreamed of doing something big and splashy, something significant. Now what we need to do is to maintain them, refresh them and turn them into reality. However, the toughest part is that we often have no ideas

27、 how to translate these dreams into actions. Well, just start with concrete objectives and stick to it. Dont let the nameless fear confuse the eye and confound our strong belief of future. Through our talents, through our wits, through our endurance and through our creativity, we will make it.Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams.
