1、The Object Clause,什么叫宾语从句？,定义：在句子中作宾语（在谓语动词之后）的从句叫宾语从句。Eg I think(that)you should study hard.主句 连接词 从句构成：主句+连接词+从句He asked me where I had put his book.主句 连接词 从句,判断哪些是宾语从句,This is the man who gave me the book.I have a sister who works in shanghai.We know that we should keep the earth clean.I know tha
2、t he lives here.We dont know if our teachers will attend the meeting.He asked me which coat I liked best.If it is fine tomorrow,I will go on a trip.She doesnt think that she can pass the exam.He is disappointed because he failed again.Please tell me how I can get there.,宾语从句的连接词,当从句为陈述句时，连接词用that。Th

4、+谓语+.),宾语从句的连接词,2.当从句为一般疑问句时，连接词用if或whether。Eg:Is Alice 15 years old?I wonder.I wonder if/whether Alice is 15 years old.More practice:I want to know:他明天是否回来。你是否喜欢可乐。,宾语从句的连接词,3.当从句为特殊疑问句时，连接词用特殊疑问词。Eg:How old is Alice?I want to know I want to know how old Alice is.How often do you go to the library?

6、成时），从而达到主句和从句的相互一致。He asked what time it was.He asked if you had written to Peter.He said that he would go back to the U.S.soon.,宾语从句的时态,3.当宾语从句说明的是客观存在的事实或者是客观存在的真理时，就不用受到主句时态的限制，仍是用一般现在时态。He said that the sun is much bigger than the moon.The teacher told the students that no news is good news.,不能用
