1、菜名翻译的常用字词及一般顺序由于汉语和英语的差异很大,我们在把中餐菜名由中文译成英文的时候,要尽量采用写实性命名法,即将菜肴的原料、烹制方法、菜肴的味形等翻译出来,以便让客人一目了然。本文根据一些官方正式的菜名实例,归纳总结了菜名翻译的“万能公式”,一般可直接套用。但对于有着丰富内涵的形象化菜名还应据其典故等情况还原其原汁原味的本色。1、 菜名翻译的字词顺序菜名翻译的一般顺序为:口感+烹法+主料+形状+with/and辅料(或with/in味汁)一般,“烹法”用相应动词的过去分词形式,“形状”为名词形式时放主料后面,为过去分词形式时放主料前面如: 仔姜烧鸡条 braised chicken f
