The rewards of

11、this program are two-fold. First, you benefit from the enriching experience of learning about American culture during your twelve-month stay with a host family. Second, your host family benefits from having consistent, reliable, in-home childcare and the opportunity to learn about you and your cultu

13、This designation permits AuPairCare to issue government forms to qualified au pairs, allowing them to secure a J-1 Exchange Visitor Visa and remain in the United States for one year. 16、on in New York City, sickness and accident insurance, and the services of an AuPairCare local staff member. In addition, your host family pays for your one-way transportation from New York City to the host community, pocket money paid to you each week ($139.05 for 51 weeks) according to Department o

Additionally, you are responsible for the one-way domestic transportation from your host familys community

Upon the successful completion of the program year, you will receive a

The AuPairCare team includes: Community Coordinators, Area Directors, Regional Managers, and the staff located at our San Franci

Depending on the region in which you live your representative will be either a Community

A field staff representatives responsibilities consist of: calling you within 48 hours of your local arrival, conducting an arrival orientation for you at your host familys home within two weeks of your local arrival, providing you with information about your commun

24、ity (including available academic courses, interesting sights, and other organizations), maintaining close contact with you and your family during the exchange year, and organizing social, as well as cultural events for you and other au pairs in your area. 每位护幼师分配有一位地区工作人员代表。您的代表是一位社区联络员还是一位区域主任要根据您

26、u need someone to talk to besides a host family member, your field staff representative is there for you. Sometimes talking about feelings of loneliness, homesickness, or confusion can be the best way to overcome those problems. Of course, if a problem or an emergency arises, you should let your fie

31、ng office receives your completed application forms, they will send your application to AuPairCare in San Francisco. This call may arrive unexpectedly for you, so it is a good idea to prepare what you would like to say to a prospective host family ahead of time. You may want to compose a list of question

33、s to ask the host family, such as: what your role in the family will be, what their requirements are, and what hours you will be working. The host family will describe their family (parents ages, childrens ages, pets, etc.), their city, their occupations, and what kind of schedule and child care dut

34、ies the au pair will be likely to have. During this initial conversation, they might confirm some aspects of your application that are important to them, such as when you can come to the US, your child care experience, your hobbies or interests, and your driving ability and experience. 一旦某个家庭收到您的申请,

36、t family believes your skills meet their needs, they will suggest setting up a second call with you. This allows you and the host family to carefully consider the first conversation. You must wait 24 hours before speaking again to confirm a placement. That means that you must speak with a host famil

The DS-2019 form and an immigration letter will also be sent at this time to your loca
