1、Friendship说课稿Unit 1 Friendship Part I Analysis of teaching material 1. Teaching material This lesson is taken from New Senior English for China Students Book1. It focuses on friendship and tells us that a friend can not only be a human being but other things. 2. Teaching objectives Emotional objecti

2、ve :To build and strengthen students self-confidence. Ability objectives: To be cooperative in team work. Culture objectives:To help students to know what qualities should a good friend have and what kind of friendship is good for them. Language and language skills objectives: Students are able to l

3、earn some new words or phrases and to describe a good friend . 3. Teaching focuses and difficulties To help students to know what qualities should a good friend have and what kind of friendship is good for them. Part Teaching methods and teaching aids Students in this stage can express themselves by

4、 using simple words and sentences and they have their own opinions on things. So in this lesson I plan to make it a student-oriented class and I will guide them through this class. At the same time, students can learn English in an interesting way. So I use Task-based teaching approach, Communicativ

5、e approach,Situational language teaching approach in this lesson. Teaching aids: books, blackboard, multimedia powerpoint etc. Part Learning methods Learning by practicing and Cooperative learning Part Teaching procedures As this lesson is to introduce the topic to the students and to do a bit of pr

6、eparation for reading part and to help the students have a better understanding on friendship. During the course , students will be asked to complete some discussions. The teaching procedures include: 1.Leading-in Firstly i will ask students some questions about the topic. Its purpose is to lead in

7、our topic in an interesting way. 2.Discussion The students will discuss what good qualities should a friend have. Then some students will be invited to share their opinions with the whole class. This activity refers to a real situation in their life so the students are supposed to be active and happ

8、y. 3. More adjectives to describe a person When students talk about the personalities I show some more words which can help them better describe a person. It will help them with their homework after this lesson. 4. The survey Before the survey: I apply situational teaching method in learning the new

9、 words in the survey. Its purpose is to clear up the obstacles and help students understand the survey. While the survey:they discuss with their desk mates or partners. I want them to express freely in this part. After the survey: they are asked to tell the whole class the answer and explain why. Th

10、is part can help them to think about the friendship and practice English as well. 5. Discussion In this part, students can understand friend can be person, animal, book, diary and so on. Meanwhile we play a good foundation for the reading part. 6. Review and Homework In this part, students can conso

11、lidate the knowledge we have learned. Part V Teaching reflection Since they are sensitive and lack of confidence,they might be shy to express themselves in the class, more encourage ment should be applied to the teaching. Because most students are new friends, so I think discussion in groups might help them know each other better.
