2、“就要，将要”时，to后经常接用名词或动名词，不能接动词不定式。 He is on the way to success. He is well on his way to becoming an officer of the company. on the /ones way可以用作表语，意为“即将到来”。 The new machine you ordered is on its way. Christmas is on the way; we are in October already. Better weather is on the way. 表示“方法，方式”时，经常与介词in
