1、三棵树的愿望三棵树的愿望 从前，有三棵树生长在山上的树林里。一天，它们谈论起了它们的希望和梦想。第一棵树说：“总有一天，我要成为一个珠宝箱，里面装满金、银和珍贵的宝石。我会装饰上精致的雕刻，每个人都能看到那份美丽。” 第二棵树接着说：“总有一天，我要成为一艘巨轮，载着国王和王后漂洋过海周游世界。每个人坐在我这艘船上都会觉得安全，因为我的船身孔武有力。” 最后，第三课树说：“我想长成森林中最高大最笔直的树。人们会看到我屹立在万山之巅，他们会想到天堂、上帝，我离他们是多么近啊！我将成为古往今来最伟大的树，人们会永远记住我。” 多年来，他们一直在祈祷梦想成真。有一天，一群伐木工来到这里，其中一个伐木
2、工走到第一棵树旁边说：“这棵树看起来很结实，我想我可以把这棵树卖给木匠。”于是，他就把它砍倒了。第一棵树很高兴，因为它相信木匠会把自己做成珠宝箱。 在第二棵树旁边的伐木工说：“这棵树看起来很结实，我可以把它卖给造船厂。”第二棵树很高兴，因为它相信自己就要变成一艘巨轮了。 这些人又来到第三棵树旁边，这棵树害怕了，因为它知道如果他们把它砍倒，它的梦想就永不会实现了。一个伐木工说：“我要的树没有什么特别的用途，所以就砍这一棵树吧。”说着，就把它砍倒了。 第一棵树到了木匠手里，它被做成了一个喂牲口的饲料槽，装满了干草，放置在马厩里。这和它所祈祷的一点都不一样。 第二棵树被做成了一艘小渔船，它那成为一艘
3、巨轮、载着国王出海的梦想，也破灭了。 第三棵树被砍成几大块木头，被闲置在一边。 很多年过去了，这些树忘记了他们的梦想。 有一天，一对夫妇来到了马厩。妻子生下一个小孩，他们把孩子放在饲料槽中的干草上，那个饲料槽正是用第一棵树做的。父亲想为婴儿做一个摇篮，于是这个饲料槽就派上了用场。这棵树明白了这个事件是多么的重要，并且知道了它怀里是前所未有的珍宝。 几年过去了，一群人坐上用第二棵树的渔船出海了。其中的一个人很疲倦，不久就睡着了。当他们在海上时，一场猛烈的暴风雨来临了，这棵树觉得它不够结实，不足以保护这些人的安全。有人把那个睡着的人叫醒，这人醒了之后站起来说：“停下来！”于是，暴风雨停了。此时，这
4、棵树才知道载的乃是万王之王。 最后，有人把第三棵树带走了，它被拖过一条条街道，而一路上人们都在嘲笑着那个拖木头的人。在山顶上，他们停了下来。那个人被钉在树上，悬在山顶，死去了。当星期日到来的时候，这棵树意识到自己已经足够强壮，能够屹立万山之巅。它离上帝是如此之近，因为耶稣就被钉死在它上面。 这个故事的寓意是：当事情没有按照你所设想的方式发展时，请相信上帝已为你做好了安排。如果你相信上帝，他就会给你丰厚的礼物。三棵树都得到了它们想要的东西，只不过不是它们所设想的方式。 我们不会知道上帝是如何为我们安排的，我们仅能知道他的方式不是我们所能想到的，但是他的方式总是最好的。 耶和华说：“我的意念非同你
5、们的意念，我的道路非同你们的道路。天怎样高过地，照样，我的道路高过你们的道路，我的意念高过你们的意念。” A Story Of The Three Trees Once there were three trees on a hill in the woods. They were discussing their hopes and dreams when the first tree said， Someday I hope to be a treasure chest. I could be filled with gold， silver and precious gems. I co
6、uld be decorated with intricate carving and everyone would see the beauty. Then the second tree said， Someday I will be a mighty ship. I will take Kings and queens across the waters and sail to the corners of the world. Everyone will feel safe in me because of the strength of my hull. Finally the th
7、ird tree said， I want to grow to be the tallest and straightest tree in the forest. People will see me on top of the Hill and look up to my branches， and think of the heavens and God and how close to them I am reaching. I will be the greatest tree of all time and people will always remember me. Afte
8、r a few years of praying that their dreams would come true， a group of woodsmen came upon the trees. When one came to the first tree he said， This looks like a strong tree， I think I should be able to sell the wood to a Carpenter， and he began cutting it down. The tree was happy， because he knew tha
9、t the carpenter would make him into a treasure chest. At the second tree the woodsman said， This looks like a strong tree. I should be able to sell it to the shipyard. The second tree was happy because he knew he was on his way to becoming a mighty ship. When the woodsmen came upon the third tree， t
10、he tree was frightened because he knew that if they cut him down his dreams would not come true. One of the Woodsmen said， I dont need anything special from my Tree， Ill take this one， and he cut it down. When the first tree arrived at the carpenters， he was made into a feed box for animals. He was
11、then placed in a barn and filled with hay. This was not At all what he had prayed for. The second tree was cut and made into a small fishing boat. His dreams of being a mighty ship and carrying kings had come to an end. The third tree was cut into large pieces， and left alone in the dark. The years
12、went by， and the trees forgot about their dreams. Then one day， a man and woman came to the barn. She gave birth and they placed the baby in the hay in the feed box that was made from the first tree. The man wished that he could have made a crib for the baby， but this manger would have to do. The tr
13、ee could feel the importance of this event and knew that it had held the greatest treasure of all time. Years later， a group of men got in the fishing boat made from the second Tree. One of them was tired and went to sleep. While they were out on the water， a great storm arose and the tree didnt thi
14、nk it was strong enough To keep the men safe. The men woke the sleeping man， and He stood and said Peace and the Storm stopped. At this time，the tree knew that it had carried the King of Kings in its boat. Finally， someone came and got the third tree. It was carried through the Streets as the people
15、 mocked the man who was carrying it. When they came to a stop， the man was nailed to the tree and raised in the air to die at the Top of a hill. When Sunday came， the tree came to realize that it was strong enough to stand at the top of the hill and be as close to God as was possible， because Jesus
16、had been crucified on it. The moral of this story is that when things dont seem to be going your Way， always know that God has a plan for you. If you place your trust in Him， God will give you great gifts. Each of the trees got what they wanted， just not in the way they had imagined. We dont always
17、know what Gods plans are for us. We just know that His Ways are not our ways， but His ways are always best. For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, declares the LORD. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.
