For example , they help a lot in medical experiments . However in recent years a growing number of people believe that animals shou
2、ld not be used for testing medical techniques and drugs . In my opinion , I would not go along with them . Animal testing allows scientists to test and create new drugs . With the help of animal tests , we have found cures to many formerly fatal diseases. However , many new deadly illnesses appear e
3、very year and new treatments and drugs are needed to combat them . Many people argue that animal testing is cruel . in some cases this is true . However it would be much more cruel to let people die because there is not enough information about a disease . Another reason why I advocate animal tests
4、is that at present there are no other better methods to replace them . Animals have similar physical processes to humans . However not only would the costs of testing in humans be extremely high , but also it is brutal to test new drugs on children or adults . Therefore , animals test are still rega
5、rded as the only reliable and feasible method . Animals such as monkeys or rabbits which are used in experiments are easily bred . In fact they can be raised in laboratories artificially . In other words , there is a large supply of animalsfor medical research . Using animals in drug tests will not
6、have negative effects on the balance of ecosystem . Furthermore , most countries set standards for animal treatment in tests , and laboratories have regulations to prevent cruelty . Some diseases are no common ones and will not lead to peoples death . Furthermore , with the development of science and technol
11、ogy , other alternatives have been found to replace animal testing . For example , computer simulation can achieve similar results . Not all the experiments are reliable . Animals and humans are quite different kinds of creatures . They have different physical processes . The treatment and drugs which are effective on animals are sometimes useless and can even have negative effects on humans . That is to say , information gathered from animals does not always apply to humans . All in all , such kind of brutality should be halted . We should create a pain-free life for all animals .
