4、复数形式 1、规则变化 1）一般在词尾加-s cups bills umbrellas 2）以 s, x, sh, ch 结尾 的加-es buses glasses matches brushes 3）以f, fe 结尾，变 f ，fe 为 v再加 -es knife-knives leaf-leaves life-lives , loaf-loaves shelf-shelves , wolf-wolves , thief-thieves wife-wives 但是：roof-roofs, belief-beliefs, handkerchief-handkerchiefs 或handke
5、rchieves. 4）以辅音字母加y 结尾的，边 y 为 i ,再加 -es. factory-factories , lady-ladies , party-parties spy-spies, sky-skies, study-studies, theory-theories 5）少数以 o结尾的要加 -es hero-heroes , potato-potatoes, tomato-tomatoes echo-echoes, mosquito-mosquitoes, buffalo-buffaloes, Negro-Negroes 6）其他以 o 结尾的则只加 -s radio-rad
6、ios, photo-photos, zoo-zoos, memo- memos, kilo-kilos 7）单复数同形Chinese deer, sheep, aircraft, means, series, species 8）改变元音man-men, woman-women, Englishman-Englishmen 9）将中间 oo变为ee tooth-teeth, foot-feet, goose-geese 2、少数名词的复数形式是不规则的。 木森教育 010-62567599 木森教育 010-62567599 改变单数名词中的元音字母。如：man-men, woman-wom
7、en, foot-feet, tooth-teeth, mouse-mice 有两个名词是在词尾上加-en变成为复数： ox-oxen, child-children 单、复数形式相同。如： a sheep-two sheep, a deer-three deer fish的复数形式常常仍用fish，在表示不同种类的鱼时，也可以加-es。如： There are lots of fishes in the sea. 名词所有格 英语中有些名词， 特别是表示有生命的东西的名词可以加 s 表示所属关系谁的，名词的这种形式称为名词所有格。名词的所有格一般是在名词后加 s 构成。在以 s 结尾的名词后
8、面，只加 。如： Janes father, Jacks mother, Mr. Blacks wife, workers families, the teachers reading-room 如果一样东西为两人或两人以上所共有，只在后一个名词的末尾加 s 。如： Fred and Janes father John, Jack and Janes books. 英语名词所有格所修饰的词，如果在前面已提到，可以省略，以免重复。如： This is not fathers shirt, but my brothers. Thats Jacks brother, not Marys. 在表示店铺
