The story shows us the rise and fall of seven generations in one hundred years. Whats more, it de
2、picts the deep-rootedloneliness in our humanity.It involves all aspects of society and family life, which can also be said the history and the culture of Latin American in microcosm. Later, he left with the gypsies and became uninhibitedwhen he went back.In the end, he was assassinatedstrangely.The next boy Aureliano was born in Macon
10、. He could cry on the womb, and came to the world with openedeyes. He could foresee everything as a child. After he grew up, he fell in love with a mayor daughter Remedios. Before this, he has given birth to a son with his brothers lover and named himAureliano Jose. After his wife died, he participa
11、ted in the civil war andbecame a colonel. All his life he experienced fourteenassassinations,seventy-three ambushes anda shot, but both survived. He lived in sinwith 17 foreign women, and gave birth to 17 boys. These boys all went back to Macondo for seeking their roots, but all were killed within a
12、 week. He returned home when he was old and was also obsessed with alchemy like his father until he died. Their little sister, Amaranta fell in love with an Italytechnician, and have incest withtheir nephew. Unpleasant love made her unhappy and she locked herself in the room alone tosewing clothes f
13、or the dead. The third generation only has two cousins, Arcadio andAureliano.The first one who didnt know his mother fell in love with her, and almost made a big mistake. The latter became a Macondos army chief, and finally was shot fortaking bribes and bending the law. Before he died, he married a
14、woman and gave birth to a girl and two boys. His cousin lost his heart to AuntAmaranta, but couldnt marry her.Therefore he joinedthe army,and ultimately killed by theoutlying men. The fourth generation has two boys and one girl who were born because ofArcadiosadultery. Daughter Remedios the Beauty w
15、as lovely. She always gave out discomforting odor, which had set a few men to death. She was always willing to be naked, and liked spending time in bathing. Later when she dried sheets, there was a gust of wind blew up,she disappeared in the air forever. Her twin brother,Arcadio Segundo, worked for
16、a banana company as a supervisor, and incited workers to strike. Later, more than 3000 workers were put in distress, and he was the only one man survived. He witnessed the government send the workers bodiesby train and threw them into sea. But he was considered insane when telling this slaughter. He

Another one, AurelianoSegundo often left his wife alone and had affairs with mistress. Strangely, this madelivestock breed quickly and brought him wealth.Before died in pain,he and his wi

In the end, he was killed for keep more than 7000 gold coinshidden by Ursula in the cellar.The daughter Meme fell in love with aapprentice of banana company. But her mother forbade
20、them to meet, so they had no choice but to meet secretly in the bathroom. Unfortunately, mother found and killed him byconvicting of stealing chicken. In total despair, Meme was sent to the monastery with pregnancy. Little girl Amaranta Ursula studied in Brussels school when she was a child. When sh
21、e went back home, she sawthe shuttered Macondo and determined to rebuild their homes.She was bouncy and full of energy,and her mood is better than the family.Shewanted to overthrow all outdated conventions and bad customs. Therefore, she set out a long-term plan to save the disaster-ridden village.

They were born with loneliness, and also they didnt escape from loneliness. They were afraid ofloneliness tried to be against with it in their own ways, but they
29、 also maintained a lonely stance. The loneliness of the family reflects great loneliness and confusion of modern people: Who are we? Where are we come from? And where are we going to?But I want to say, itssolitude,butnot loneliness. When we are young, we all may fell solitude. We will ask that whats
