4、ccordance with AS 1289.3.1.1 or AS 1289.3.1.2. If the liquid limit cannot be determined the soil is considered to be non-plastic and the plastic limit need not be determined.(b)If a liquid limit value has been determined, perform the plastic limit in accordance with AS 1289.3.2.1 ensuring that the s

6、 liquid limit, in percent.wP = plastic limit, in percent.AS 1289.3.3.12009 25 TEST REPORTThe following shall be reported:(a)The plasticity index (IP), in percent, when both the liquid limit and the plastic limit are determined.(b)When the liquid limit or the plastic limit cannot be determined, repor
7、t the plasticity index as NP (i.e., non-plastic), together with the liquid or plastic limit, if either has been determined.(c) When the plastic limit is equal to or greater than the liquid limit, report the plasticity index as 0 (zero) and also report both the liquid limit and the plastic limit.(d)T
