1、Christmas is coming 说课稿Lesson 25: Christmas Is Coming !说课稿 蔚县马宝玉小学 章树琴 我说课的内容是冀教版小学英语第七册：Lesson 25: Christmas Is Coming !说教材、说教法与学法、说教学过程、说教学评价 教材分析 本课是冀教版小学英语六年级第七册第四单元的第一课，是一节新授课。本课介绍了北美文化中一个十分重要的节日-圣诞节。本单元学习的也是有关西方的重要节日圣诞节的有关知识。 学习对象分析 六年级学生已经学了三年多的英语了。大部分学生能用简单的英语谈论一些话题。学生在四年级时已经初步学习了一些中国的节日，有一部
2、分学生能说出本课学习的圣诞节这一节日的相关内容，学生在平常生活中已经受到西方传统节日文化的影响，对节日的文化背景、文化知识都比较熟悉。在中西方节日强烈的对比下，学生很容易产生强烈的好奇心及想了解探究的愿望。 本节课主要运用了：创设情境教学法 教学目标 1.知识目标： 使学生熟练掌握有关春节和圣诞节的词汇，短语及句型。 2.把所学知识进行重整、加工、创造性的使用语言进行交际和交流。 1 3.通过春节和圣诞节的对比，让学生了解中西方的文化差异。 能力目标： 1.通过小组活动培养学生的合作意识。 2.能听懂关于圣诞节的故事，准确说出： What is Christmas ? 及圣诞节特殊的理由。 情
3、感态度与价值观 1.通过中西方文化的对比，让学生了解中西方文化的差异，进一步激发学生的爱国情感。 2.体会 英语与人交往中的作用以明确学习目标，提高学习英语的兴趣。 教学重难点： 了解有关春节，圣诞节的单词、语句，并将两种中西方节日进行对比了解中西方文化的差异。 教具：多媒体课件，录音机，圣诞节相关物品。 教学过程： Step one: Greetings: 1.T: Hello boys and girls. S:Hello, teacher. T:How are you today? S: Im fine, thanks. T:What day is today? S:Its 2 T: A
4、re you happy ? Im very happy . 师生间的情感交流是课堂教学的必要组成部分，在复习环节安排这样的内容，有利于缩短师生之间的距离，消除学生的心理障碍，为后面的教学做好铺垫。 2.Lets play a game :”Guess:What holiday is it ? “ T: I have some beautiful pictures. Look! 5、ew YearSpring Festival 通过竞猜的形式复习了学生之前已经学过的许多节日名称，又渗透了本课的重点词汇 holiday ，为引出本节课所要学的西方重要节日圣诞节做好了铺垫。且在上课开始就充分调动起学生学英语的积极性，可谓一举三得。 Step two: Introduce Spring Festival. T: What festival is the most important in China? S: Spring Festival. T:What presents can you get in the Spring Festival? S: I can get some
6、 lucky money. T: Do you know something about Spring Festival? T:学生说出春节有关的信息：“Date(January o or February) , Fun (can play with friends) , Food(dumplings ) , Special things( watch the evening party )” 3 T: Everyone is happy in the Spring Festival .Me,too! I like Spring Festival . The people dont go to
7、 work and have a long time holidays. We can stay at home. They are busy to clean their house and decorate their houses. The children dont go to school ,too. They can get lucky money from their parents and other relatives. They have parties and have dinner in the restaurants. So the Spring Festival i
8、s the most important and popular festival in China. 抓住基础知识，注重双基教学，对本单元教材进行二次开发，真正把教材作为知识载体，加入春节的内容使本单元内容更加完整、连贯、自成体系。 Step three: Leading in T:Look at the calendar . Whats the date today ? S: Its December 25th. T: What season is it ? S: Its winter. T: In Western countries, there is a famous holiday
9、in winter, What is it ? 看似轻松自然的对话，既复习了上个单元的内容，又巧妙的引出了本节课的主题： 4 S: Its Christmas Step four: New Concepts: 1.Inturduce “ Christmas “ S: 圣诞节。 T:Yes Its Christmas .( 板书，领读) 引导学生说出首字母需大写，字母“t”没有发音。 2.教授单词 Christmas tree, Christmas lights. T: Look, Whats this ? S: Its a Christmas tree. T: Whats on the Chr
10、istmas tree? S: 圣诞彩灯和礼物 T： Yes, Christmas tree and Christmas gifts. ( 领读) 通过多媒体课件使学生印象深刻，注意力集中，能保持对英语学习的兴趣。 3.听第一部分录音并提出问题： a.Whats Christmas ? b. Why is Christmas special ? 4.Introduce “Santa” 找一位自愿的学生扮演圣诞老人，并穿上圣诞老人的衣服，通过动作让学生认读单词： invite, bring, give. T: He is Santa. ( Father Christmas ) What is h
11、e wearing ? S: He is in red hat,red clothes,black boots. 5 T : Do you love Santa? Why ? S: Yes. Santa brings gifts for us .( 板书) T：Good ! For example : toy cars, toy bikes. Sweets and so on . Santa puts the gifts in the stockings. 学生在平常的生活中已经收到了西方传统文化的影响，对节日的文化背景、文化知识都有了一定的了解。他们对于自己喜欢的话题乐于开口说话。扩展课文以
12、外的知识是对课文内容的补充，使学生更深入地了解西方的节日文化。 5.通过多媒体课件教授第二部分Jenny 一家如何过圣诞节 6.听录音并回答问题： a. When is Christmas? b. Who is Santa ? c. Do you love Santa ? Why? 7. Compare “ Christmas “ and “ “Spring Festival” T: Christmas is very important in Western just like Spring Festival in China. Could you tell something for us
13、 ? (Discuss in group of four, then find some volunteers say something.) S1.We dont go to school on those days . S2We invite our friends to our house . S3We send gifts to each other. S4 6 T: Good ! On Spring Festival ,we say “ Happy New Year” On Christmas ,we say “ Merry Christmas” 通过中西方节日文化的对比，满足学生的
14、好奇心和求知欲。小组的讨论形式有利于培养学生的合作精神和互助精神，也可以使一些胆小的学生在小组内敢于开口说英语。 8. Introduce “Christmas songs “ Use real song. 播放：I wish you a merry Christmas . 这首圣诞歌曲是典型的圣诞歌曲，也是被大部分中国少年儿童所熟悉的歌曲。我之所以在课结束时播放这首歌曲是为了让孩子们在欢乐的气氛中结束这节课的同时也讲到了圣诞节的问候语： Merry Christmas ! Step 5: 板书设计 Lesson25： Christmas Is Coming！ Holiday bring Ch
15、ristmas tree invite Christmas lights Special give Christmas gifts Santa Step6: Class closing 1.To sing the Christmas Song . 7 2.To make a Christmas card for your friends and write some words on it . 让孩子们在学圣诞歌和写卡片的过程中巩固所学知识. 作业的设计要考虑到本课的内容特点，避免单纯的吵吵写写。 Step 7:教学反思 我认为本节课比较成功的地方有： 1.本节课主要运用了创设情境教学法。让学生扮演圣诞老人，通过播放幻灯片和圣诞歌曲，营造出浓浓的圣诞节气氛。让学生在真实的情境中学习和交流。把单调、机械的学习变为生动、活泼的交际性学习。本节课至始至终都保持了高涨的学习热情。学生们踊跃的开口说他们所知道的英语，师生在教和学的过程中都体会到了快乐。 2.本节课注重渗透了东西方节日的文化差异。给学生扩展了许多文化上的尝识。满足了学生的好奇心和求知欲。 不足之处：一是本节课内容较多，个别学差生照顾的不够，有跟不上的现象。二是扩展的知识部分学生没做笔记，课后容易遗忘。 8
