1、第3课时(Section B),单 词connect,点拨,connect 意为“(使)连接；与有联系”，其过去,式和过去分词是 connected。另外 connected 也可以用作形容词，意为“连接的，有联系的”。如：The towns are connected by train and bus services.这些城镇由火车和公共汽车连接起来。,辨析,be connected to 与 be connected with,(1)be connected to 意为“把连上”。如：Please connect the computer to the Internet.请把电脑和网络连
2、上。(2)be connected with 意为“把与连接起来”。如：It serves as a bridge which connects the mainland with the restof the world.它是连接祖国大陆与世界其他地方的桥梁。,短 语1even if,点拨辨析,even if 意为“即使，纵然”，引导让步状语从句。even if 与 even though,这两个词组大致意思相当，但强调的侧重有所不同。even if一般引导的是把握不大或假设的事情，even though 引出的是事实。如：Even though he knows it,hell not l
